Went there for lunch while on our trip to Newport. Food is average. Decent taste, big enough portions but very forgettable flavors. We ordered spicy girl and crazy rolls. Both were okay. Sweet potato tempura was bland. Overall decent place for reasonable prices.

Very reasonable price for sushi compared with other restaurants near port side. Parking is great because there is Stop &shop in same block. Food itself is not bad, just good for the price, feel healthy food since they use less sodium. Service is nice and quick. I don’t want to recommend any soup dishes but sushi. Wasabi looked too old and hard.

I have been ordering IM Sushi every week for 5 years. Not once have they messed up my order 🙂 I am a very big fan. The food is consistently reading so quickly (their record was 3 mins), they are very attentive to allergies and overall great quality sushi. The workers are very kind and hard working. Incredible sushi at super reasonable prices! Staff was really nice. Walked in and last-minute decided we wanted get it to go (nothing to do with the restaurant – it was cute and the ambiance was nice) and from ordering to walking out it was only 20 mins. Miso soup and crab ravioli (rangoons) were also great.

I ordered Two Special Roll and Una Don (Eel over rice) from Lunch special. The special rolls are delicious. The Una Don is yummy but the portion is very small and not sufficient for lunch. Overall, food is good, but the atmosphere is not that good: Two employees are cutting boxes in the middle of the restaurant. I have to listen to the box cutting noises throughout the whole lunch.

Good all you can eat sushi overall. fresh (they make it after you sit down and order, unlike buffet-line style). Lunch is cheaper but ordering options are limited. Dinner is a few dollars more but opens up more options. If you just like rolls, lunch may be the better value. If you like all the typical sushi offerings, go at dinner time. And you can always opt for pay-for-what-you-eat

HIGHLY recommend!! I placed an order for three party platters at 6 am and all was ready by 1:30 pick up time. The sushi was outstanding quality and the cherry on top was the cost. Highly affordable great sushi. I will be stopping by again next time I’m in the city.
