My time at Il Vicolo Trattoria was excellent! It only took a couple of minutes to find a table at 5 PM on a weekday, and the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and answered all my questions. Warm bread and water came quickly, and the food was worth the 15 minute wait. For the appetizer, I had a green salad, which was very fresh, and for the entree the spaghetti con vogole (with clams); it was cooked just right and seasoned well. I had the pistachio gelato for dessert, creamy and delicious. A very good way to end the dinner. Overall, I can’t say enough about this restaurant. It exceeded my expectations!

We attended II Vicolo last night for my mother’s birthday and everything was absolutely fantastic. My mother and father greatly enjoyed their lemondrop martinis. My old fashioned was fantastic. We had mussels and arancini as appetizers and they were amazing. We had eight finger cavatelli, whitefish and short rib for dinner and everything was out of this world.
Service was transcendent. Jack gave us several recommendations that were all spot on. Hostess and bussers were great as well.
What a fantastic little restaurant we never knew was right in our backyard.

incredible food, our server was fantastic. A romantic spot with amazing delicious food. We ordered mussels and a caprase salad. Both fresh and very delicious. Wife had the short rib and I had the chicken parmigiana.

Awesome …. Rustic??… Italian atmosphere. Big fancy chandeliers coupled with modern ceiling lights. Nice paintings on the wall. Friendly and very respectful staff, prompt as well. Note that I was here for a MASA seminar which included either lasagna or chicken Limon for free as well as free soft drinks (coke regular with a lemon slice). The lasagna looked amazing, but I definitely don’t regret the chicken Limon. I even ate all the carrots and charred potatoes and left just the broccoli. I need broccoli to be doused in cheese if I’m eating it. I never had chicken Limon before, and my dad doesn’t cook that so this was my chance to try it. And I don’t regret it at all, that flavor was delizioso and the chicken was super juicy and tender. Loved it. I’m too poor to eat at places like these normally, so I appreciate and am happy to have had the chance to try their food. 5/5 no doubt.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my dad’s birthday in February. I liked the atmosphere in this restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with Valentine’s decorations. The food was good and we ate it all. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I recommend this restaurant for a romantic date night.

Went for dinner and sat outside in the dining area. It was lit up with outside lights. Very nice atmosphere and comfortable outdoor chairs. Service was good with a smile. Very efficient. The food was hot and it was larger portions. The one spicy dish was a bit too spicy. Is it overpowered the flavor of the condiments in the dish. I would go there again and I recommend the pasta dishes. Dessert was average. Nothing special

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Real authentic Italian in ingredients, style and taste. I had made reservations but I am sure they would have been able to accommodate us even if we didn’t have one. Reservations recommend though for parties larger then 4 because they did have a few large groups at the same time. Staff was super nice and we never went a minute without having out water and drinks refilled. Whoever was available, was helping with anything we needed and you could really see the teamwork between the employees. The good was amazing. The pasta was creamy. And the pizza was just how pizza should look and taste like. Perfect crust and ingredients in the combinations. Many food options to choose from and you won’t be disappointed no matter what you get. Many wine options, we went with Italian wine and love it. There is street parking on the entry side but also a parking garage on the back side. The patio is great! Definitely recommend this restaurant for romantic date nights.

I generously awarded one star for decent appetizer and good service. Our waiter was very gracious as he attempted to correct the very disappointing experience we had with our dinner. We ordered the 10 0z Beef Tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto. I ordered it medium rare. First time around it was extremely overcooked. After speaking with the waiter they offered to recook it. Second time it was almost raw, maybe on purpose? I couldn’t even stomach more than two bites. Save your money. If you don’t know how to cook steak it shouldn’t be on the menu.
