My family was in the area and wanted to find a nice place for an early dinner, this place did not disappoint. It’s very quaint and cozy, not ideal for large parties (10+ppl). However, the food is delicious and the service is stellar. To start, we ordered the tomato soup. So good it was light creamy non-acidic just right we paired it with the pull apart bread, which complemented it so well. The rigatoni Bolognese was good, chicken Francaise was to die for, chicken was seasoned well and tender. I had the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert, it was a great ending to a great meal. The portions are very generous and their prices are reasonable. Attentive service and the food comes out piping hot so you know it’s made fresh and didn’t take long to come to the table. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves, and will be returning in the near future!

Been to this place twice with some friends and we love it! Not too crazy about their espresso martini but their sangria and frozen margaritas are delicious. For appetizers we had the pull apart bread and the fried calamari. The calamari were good but the pull apart bread was on another level. We all loved it. Wasn’t sure what to order for my entree and the server recomended the chicken francese. I am so glad I listened because it was awesome. It comes alone so I ordered a side of mash potatoes which was average. For dessert, I had the chocolate cake. It was rich and delicious. Definitely good to share. Ever all, food was great, drinks were strong and good, and service was amazing. Definitely recommend.

I went Christmas evening 2025, and this place was “Hot” with talent. Friends of mine, including my voice teacher, were performing: The Brooklyn Soul Train. They were fantastic then as was their guest trumpet-player who was already supplying his own cadenzas, then two additional musicians jumped in; a pianist and a guitarist. It was fire!!!
The food was delicious, as well. My table had the Hot Wings. I’d been once before to see & hear them, and had something else good, too. I believe it was a sandwich, but I had to go to a rehearsal and got it to go. None of eating ambiance of Christmas Day. Drinks were good and strong enough.

Solid neighborhood cafe with good coffee, really nice ambiance, many places to charge your device or do remote work though I wouldn’t advice going here if you need to do a virtual meeting that requires you to do a lot of talking. Lastly the service is quick and warm.

I usually order the Penne allá vodka the sauce usually makes the meal and it shows, my second favorite is their chicken Parmesan huge portions tasty red sauce and there mozerella sticks are ok they can improve on this but overall this restaurant is the best I know in uptown A++

Everything from its local art work, incredibly polite and sociable staff (Brian and friends) made this an absolute wholesome Dyckman dining experience.
Went to celebrate my sister’s birthday and they took great care of us.
The music was at the perfect volume to have great conversation and laughs without feeling overpowered.
The menu had a great fusion of Italian and Latin cuisine. Everything was delicious and came with a great portion.
Pricing was incredibly reasonable.
Definitely recommend and will be back!

The food here was delicious , but the overall experience left a bad impression. Service during the meal was fine.
The real issue was with the bill. Our total for food was $132.48, and they added auto-gratuity, bringing it to $153.54, without mentioning it. Then, when the server brought the receipt for signature, it included additional tip options on top of the auto-gratuity. By then, the itemized bill had been removed, so we had to ask for it again to confirm.
This felt like an attempt to double charge on the tip, which is not okay. On top of that, some menu prices didn’t match the bill.
Great food, but I’d be very careful with the check. Because of the billing practices, I can only give 2 stars.

This place won’t disappoint you at all the food is amazing, as you could see from the pictures below. This location is very sweet, joyful and very comfortable. Small of course but make sure to call and make reservations. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Overall, I will be returning to this restaurant soon
