First time visiting on a recommendation from a family member and we weren’t disappointed. We especially enjoyed the salmon rigatoni dish. The vodka sauce was perfect. Service was amazing as well.

The food was awesome but some of my co workers took their food back to the hotel since it took them 1/hrs later to bring our food. I was starving since I didn’t eat lunch coz I wanted to come hungry and by god I was lol. Our waiter was good though so attentive and kept apologizing how our food took longer.

I ordered chicken picatta and asked for extra sauce, the kitchen must have been having a laugh or got annoyed by the request… I got a very soupy pasta dish with an entire bowl of soupy sauce on the side.
I have worked as a chef and I understand the frustration of a special request, but it was not a rush, there were 3 tables… their response to my request was insulting and blatantly so… plus my wife and I were sharing the dish so her meal was ruined as well.
The waiter was nice enough but he denied reality and did acknowledge the ‘joke’ of a dish when I mentioned it to him 1 on 1 on the way out. I added a photo to show the ridiculousness of the kitchens response to a simple request.
Everything else was fine… Just don’t ask for any modifications to you dish I guess…

Great food! Great atmosphere! Menu is fantastic! Everything my family tried was amazing from their pizzas to the pollo e fungi. The dipping oil and garlic bread is a fan favorite in my family. I wish the oil came free with the bread but definitely worth the little extra money. This place has become my favorite Italian restaurant in Kerrville. We don’t go anywhere else.

This restaurant had good ratings but did not live up to the expectations. The chicken parmigiana’s sauce was fresh… out of the can…. Perhaps it had a bit of sugar and a bit of fresh parsley to pretend. My friend ordered Alfredo… and it tasted just like cream … no cheese or garlic flavor or nothing else whatsoever… probably not even salt… the other friend ordered spaghetti with bolognese sauce … the meat was good but the sauce again… had no craft…

We went there for new years eve dinner. The food was delicious. I recommend the rigatoni with prosciutto. The drinks were delicious as well and a decent amount, but they were a little light on the alcohol content. The only down side was the waitress. We asked for a recommendation since we’d never been there before, but got a rehearsed schpeal of the most ordered items on the menu. She then went missing for quite a while, didn’t offer us any more drinks or dessert, and basically kicked us out by bringing the check. The waiter next to us however sounded lively and described the best dishes to that table, so it was just bad luck. Overall very good. The atmosphere could have been a bit more comfortable with lower lighting and some music, but it looked clean and inviting. Price per plate was good, with expected take away portions. Bread was good as well and free, though I was surprised that the dipping oils were a charge. I’m glad I confirmed my reservation twice, since the first time it was not written down. The lady who answered the phone the first time was quite sassy and had little patience and should not be answering phones.

Service: Came in on sunday two weeks ago and the service was very poor! Drink only refilled one time and server rarely checked on us, even though there was only one other table in the store that the server wasnt even waiting on.
Food:
The chef needs a steak cooking lesson he or whoever nailed the rest of the food but the steak he cooked was RAW. I tried telling my server but she really didnt seem to care.

Nice place in downtown Kerrville. The food was excellent- large portions are shareable. Pasta cooked perfectly and the caprese was so fresh. Service was good. The homemade rolls made daily are to die for! Very good!

We went to Il Posto last night (12-20-2025) and had the best restaurant meal we have had in Kerrville. The drinks were perfect, the blackberry martini was really something. The food, just delicious, no other way to describe it. Wonderful service too. We will make sure that we come back again.
