Just got back from dinner this evening – honestly, what an experience. From start to finish, the staff were brilliant, genuinely friendly and spot on with their recommendations. I know it sounds strange to rave about a bruschetta, but it was genuinely next level. The fillet steak was huge – easily the biggest I’ve had in England, and cooked perfectly (try the recommended sauce instead of peppercorn). And dessert… I’d never have chosen it myself, but the staff convinced me to try the flamed brandy caramelised strawberries with ice cream, and it was unbelievable. One of those meals I won’t forget any time soon. Congratulations on a cracking restaurant

Fantastic restaurant serving the best fresh food in Southend, forever taking my little girl for dinner here she not only loves the food but the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!

Food was delicious, it was quiet but still a good atmosphere. We had our baby with us, who the staff were great with.

They also have allergen information available online so it was very easy to choose what to eat even though I can’t have soya.

Lovely little Italian, cosy and warm. Friendly and happy staff. Food was very good but a tad plain for my palate. Veg tasted very fresh and was cooked well (ie not mushy), dessert was very tasty. I will definitely return but might ask for a bit of chilli next time

The food was reasonable, a cheery atmosphere but the service was lacking.
Between us we had the calamari and buratta starters, with a veal and spaghetti dish for our mains. The calamari was well seasoned but the buratta didn’t have much flavour and was had an odd texture. Our mains had good flavour and portion.
We had a long wait between being seating and taking our order, and finally settling the bill – ultimately deciding to pay at the counter. This was odd given we were one of two couples dining at the time.

A beautiful small restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and great service, serving incredible food at great portions. From light and refreshing platters to perfectly cooked cutlets in beautiful wine sauce. A pleasant surprise was the price of cocktails, being about £7.50 for things I expected to pay double for.

Amazing place, will absolutely go again.

We had such a lovely experience at this restaurant last night. The atmosphere felt authentically Italian – warm, inviting, and full of character. The staff were incredibly welcoming and shared thoughtful recommendations.

The highlight of the evening was the lobster pasta. The portion was generous, with lots of lobster meat – easily the best I’ve had in a very long time. We were seated at a charming table in the corner, with a view of the chef preparing pizzas fresh, which we loved too!

We can’t wait to return soon!

This is a real gem of a place, authentic Italian, well actually Sicilian, food. In a city well catered for with fast food outlets this remains a great family owned restaurant.
My go to restaurant for the last 30 years or so, my last visit on Saturday was for a quick pre cinema pizza and drink and although busy and not booked I got a table within minutes I mentioned to the waitress that I was in a bit of a rush and my order was dealt with in good time.
Still the best pizza in town. Lovely attentive staff and as always a pleasure to be there!

My partner and I went here while we stayed at Southend. The waitress who serves us was absolutely lovely and attended every need we required. The food was absolutely lush, my partner had a steak and I had the lobster ravioli. Both the service and food was amazing and when I’m back in this area I will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff and chefs for your hospitality.
