What an amazing lunch we had here yesterday. The venue choice was great, however we really wanted the minestrone soup with delicious fresh bread then a smaller portion of pasta, accompanied by a bottle of red Malbec , finnished off with two expresso Martines!
Service great. Food great, what else can I say but ” we will be back!

Really nice Italian restaurant! Ordered the fettuccine pavone, mediterranean pizza and mozzarella fritters.

The fettuccine was great and had a really unique taste to it. The pizza was really filling but a little too oily.

I would not recommend the mozzarella fritters as it had a weird taste to it I think due to the oil. However other than that the food was great and I will definitely be back!

Another point is that it was on the higher price end and a service charge was automatically added onto the bill so just be mindful of that.

We ate here tonight (group of 11). Staff were very attentive, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious – my friend and I were sharing pizza/pasta and the waiters even offered to split it for us prior to bringing the food out which was nice! Would definitely dine here again

In Glasgow for holiday shopping and chose Il Pavone for lunch. Brilliant choice. We didn’t book but got a lovely table. Cheery, friendly staff and the service was excellent. Pizza and Pasta for lunch, beautifully presented and delicious. Thanks very much. Bravo

Lovely pizza and burger, and brilliant mocktail – I’m glad we stumbled upon this place!
The only snag in the atmosphere was the staff polishing the cutlery and throwing it into the drawers (loudly) at the station right beside the tables, which created unnecessary noise. That’s something that I think should be done in the back and brought all at once: we couldn’t talk for 10min because of the noise of cutlery being thrown, which was a bit grating.

Had our meal, no one approached us for around 20 minutes and then had to ask if I could order coffee at 8,30 on a Saturday night and was told the coffee machine had been cleaned and switched off. Server said it was a bar issue not theirs. Had the cheek to still add 10% service charge to the bill. Won’t be back.

Wow, a fabulous recommendation saw us land at the best Italian food we’ve experienced in ages ! Perfection from our fresh bread and olives to his Pork meatball spaghetti and my pesto roast vegetable fettuccine. No food pics as we were hungry and keen but presentation was stunning.
Each and every staff member was friendly and made us so welcome. A chance question to our waiter Carlos saw us armed with fabulous insider tips for our next two days visit in Glasgow. Don’t miss this local secret !

Not a lot of bang for your buck here folks!
£15 for a thin slice of ciabbata with some medium size king preans as a starter, tasty but not GVFM.
My fiance ordered a smaller option of a main course of pasta and i had the regular portion,£14.95 and 17.95 respectively. They both came out on plates roughly the same size. I couldn’t believe the size of my regular portion and asked 2 different members of staff if I had received the smaller portion and was told no that it was indeed the right one. I asked how much smaller the small portion would have been and was told ” you would get about 10 individual pieces of rigatoni” cost, £14.95,
Carbonara!
I won’t be back,I felt embarrassed for them and what small portions you get here. I would have posted the photo to show you but couldn’t download it.

The quality of the food is certainly a step above most other regular Italian restaurants, and makes this place stand out. I came here for the first time a few weeks ago, and was not disappointed when I came back the second time, would definitely recommend!! The staff were very professional and accommodating, which combined with the great food, made for an excellent experience!
