The starters were fantastic, each one full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The same goes for all of the main dishes we tasted—everything was cooked perfectly and felt genuinely authentic. We ended the evening with delicious desserts that rounded out the meal wonderfully.
The service was exceptional throughout the entire visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food paired with amazing service.
There is Very Good Italian restaurant. But…closed. it was gone somewhere.
Instead…this Italian restaurant super busy & popular every days !!!
Very Good location, Good Foods & drinks. Casual Italian Restaurant.
Tonight, I came here 10 pm.
I had T-Bone… Next time… Try pasta !!!
Buon Appetito !!!
The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I was seated outside, enjoying live jazz music, which made the whole experience feel extra special and romantic.
Great food, great service, and truly outstanding hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Service and hospitality were exceptional. Our server, Gio from Milano, and our busser, Lino, took great care of us. When you go to a nice restaurant, you’re not just getting service — you’re getting hospitality — and they delivered exactly that.
Definitely coming back and bringing friends next time.
Food: High Quality Had truffle pasta, and also tried; bruchetta plate, arugula salad, panna cotta, tiramisu. All delicious.
Atmosphere: Lovely
Service: Great, yet not excellent Server & Busser super nice and professional, yet staff bringing out food was sloppy. Set food on the table between myself and other guest but his body rubbed/pressed on mine a couple times and not in a subtle way. There was also an empty seat on my other side of me so could have easily served food thru that side with pelanty of space. Happened twice, was waiting for a third time to say something but other staff served the rest and they were awesome.
That said, the service wasn’t great. It felt inattentive at times and didn’t match the quality of the food, which took away from the overall experience.
Amazing food, but the service could definitely be better.
The food was excellent. Everything was well prepared, rich in flavor, and clearly made with high quality ingredients. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were balanced and authentic, and the presentation was beautiful without feeling overdone. You can tell there is real attention to detail coming out of the kitchen.
The service was professional, attentive, and smooth throughout the evening. We never felt rushed, and everything flowed exactly as it should. Overall, Il Pastaio delivers a true upscale Italian dining experience with great food, a lovely ambiance, and strong service. Definitely a place worth coming back to when you’re in Beverly Hills.
The reality? A bit more “scene” than “substance.”
The pasta was decent, but not memorable. It wasn’t bad by any means just surprisingly ordinary for a place with such a strong reputation. When you’re dining in Beverly Hills, you expect flavors that transport you straight to Italy. Instead, it felt more like a well-executed weekday meal rather than something worth talking about the next day.
And the tiramisu.unfortunately, that was the biggest letdown. It lacked the richness and depth you hope for more polite than indulgent. A dessert that should end the night with a wow factor ended it with a shrug. Overall, il Pastaio delivers atmosphere and people-watching at a high level. But if you’re going purely for unforgettable food, you might leave wishing the flavors were as bold as the zip code.
