This pizza place called IL Panificio Pizzeria in Downtown is highly praised.
For me it was wholesome , Food ,service and atmosphere combined .
Ordered 4 different slices of pizza and the most honored one was the Buffalo chicken pizza.
And to close with a cheesecake slice couldnt ask for more.

Il Panificio Pizzeria is a gem in our downtown. I have been coming here for twenty years. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is like a step back in time to a warm, welcoming place. Having pizza and a bottle of Chianti under a Vespa is so romantic. The customer service is absolutely top notch. Paco opens the wine and brings it to our table. The staff is friendly and always provides great service. Thank you.

This is the BEST pizza in the entire county. Not only do they use the most simple, yet high quality ingredients but they pay so much attention to detail and will make the pizza of your dreams if you want. The employees are so sweet and treat everyone that comes in with the same kindness. I cannot love this place more than I already do. 10/10 would recommend ☺️

Got pizza here twice and both times have been great. Something about the crust is a little different from most pizza shops. I enjoy the thinness of the pizza and it has a slight chew to it. Toppings are always nice and the sauce has a good tang to it. The Sicilian pizzas (thicker crust) are awesome too. Crispy edges, pillowy bread, and tasty toppings. Not sure what’s up with all the people complaining about the decor, it looks exactly like most pizza places in America. Service has been perfectly fine both times too.

Walked in only to find workers rough housing off to the side. Tables were extremely dirty. Got charged $5/ per slice. Pizza was super thin, no taste

Loved the pizza! We love thin and the slices are large. The display is full of several different kinds, you choose yours and they put it in the oven so it’s hot and toasty! Family run and super friendly. My only complaint was tables were a bit of a mess. We still stayed and met some great people while there. Will definitely go back next time we’re there!

Heard good things about this place but it’s just Another Florida NY STYLE PIZZA BUST! Soooooo very very thin and flimsy, $4.00 per slice and probably 4oz of pizza definitely not worth your time. It’s a mess inside as well- looks cluttered. Sorry IL Panificio just is what it is.

Without a doubt this is my favorite pizza in Sarasota! The thin crust is so amazing.
