Locally owned Upscale Italian restaurant. Il Palio offers simply prepared regional Italian cooking that is served in a comfortable dining room. The menu has shareable starters and fresh antipasti, rustic house made pastas, and a great selection of main courses from our new wood fired grill. The desserts menu has classics like tiramisu but also offers house spun gelatos and some unique takes on other Italian sweets.
Located in the Siena Hotel lobby, this contemporary Italian spot features an elevated Tuscan menu.

Phenomenal. A very easy 5 stars. The whole staff took amazing care of us. They gave us the best booth in the house and were all very friendly. The tenderloin was very rich, extremely flavorful, and the cream sauce was outstanding. The clams in the linguine alle vongole were very sweet and the handmade pasta was fabulous. The chef sent out free dessert for us- almond cake. And after finding out I am allergic to almonds, immediately brought out a slice of cheesecake and left the almond cake for my boyfriend to eat. Such an overall wonderful experience! World class.

Me and my partner love this place! Such a great date night spot. Definitely some of, if not the best, Italian food in the triangle. Service is always so great! Super friendly and accommodating staff with some talented cooks and bartenders. We love this place so much it’s our go to for special occasions. They also are great at accommodating vegetarian diets. I was traveling for business and this restaurant happens to be in my hotel. How lucky am I?? The pasta was so fresh… I tried the Pappardelle alla Ragu Bolognese and the PoInsettia cocktail. Everything was delicious and much better than I expected from a hotel restaurant.

THE absolute BEST spaghetti I’ve ever had. There was a leak in the ceiling above my table and chair, so I have no idea why they seated us there. I couldn’t have been the first person to complain about that. I had to scoot my chair to the other end of the table.

I honestly believe IL Palio is the best restaurant I have ever visited. My husband made reservations for our 11th wedding anniversary, and the staff made it memorable and welcomed us with open arms. I appreciate the thoughtful atmosphere, along with the authentic Italian cuisine to match. The food was plated beautifully. It was so good I wasn’t able to take any pictures. Perfect date night location. We will be back, and thank you!

Food was wonderful, great service. Taking off 1 star because they removed the vegetarian menu, and the current menu is insanely overpriced. Online menu pricing is inaccurate. We spent $50 more than expected. 1 app, 2 entrees, 2 non alcoholic drinks, and 1 dessert was over $200.
