The cocktails were just as delightful as I remembered, but this time, the food truly lived up to the restaurant’s reputation. Every dish was executed beautifully, from presentation to flavor, and it was clear that the kitchen took great pride in their craft. More importantly, the hospitality made all the difference. Instead of feeling like an afterthought, we were treated with genuine care and enthusiasm, making the evening an absolute pleasure.

Went at an off time so tables were easy to get. Despite off time the staff were as attentive as if it were a peak seating. The pasta dishes were very good but the sauces could’ve been thicker and more aggressively seasoned…I don’t want to say bland and watery because they weren’t but I expected more, especially from an item called “spicy” rigatoni considering the competition from others in the neighborhood. The setting is intimate and the vibe is local fancy nonna despite the massive glass windows overlooking a busy intersection opposite the SoHo Grande. Would definitely go again but would ask for punchier versions of the dishes.

I had been coming here for years (to the other manhattan locations) and was incredibly disappointed.
Food was quite good but the service was terrible. We came here for an early dinner + felt incredibly rushed the whole time, even after choosing one of their more expensive bottles of wine. We asked to speak to the manager to complain and they completely ignored us.
Atmosphere was OK but a bit of an awkward lay out and the ceiling looked like it was falling apart.

Im not really an “out to dinner person” but i care to start treating myself more and since food is great love of mine; i thought I’d make it a habit to try different food spot. It was my first time trying this place but I passed it while walking the neighbors and thought it’d be nice to try out. They did NOT disappoint. I made a reservation for 4:30 pm because it was a fair enough dinner time for me and i saw they had a pre fixed dinner with options that i liked as well as a happy hour. I showed up with a cupcake since I was celebrating my birthday and they quickly seated me and acknowledged the occasion when seeing the cupcake. I ordered the Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe as the apetizer which was creamy, perfectly seasoned for my taste but i would skip it if you arent into a pepper taste. I sipped the best old fashioned i ever had while I waited for the next course, which is saying a lot from me since it is my favorite drink. For the next course I ordered the NY Strip since Prime was the main reason i decided to try out this place. I asked the waiter if how does he recommend the steak and he answered medium but i decided on medium rare since it is what im used to. It was fantastic but i think next time I’ll be curious to try medium. I had to get another old fashioned with my steak since it was soo good and it was just as good as the first. Extra points for consistency. I finished off with a strawberry shortcake and i truly had no expectations for this part of the meal since I’ve already show up with my favorite cupcake which they kindly lit for me and wished me a Happy Birthday but this Strawberry Shortcake was truly phenomenal. It was thick and fluffy but also juicy like a Tres Leches cake. I will definitely be back for another night. Thank you for the experience.

In town traveling and decided to stop in for lunch. Luis took care of us for lunch and we had an absolutely spectacular experience. Our cocktails were perfectly balanced and delightful. From apps to dessert, every forkful was magic. Cannot recommend it enough!

My son went to treat himself to a nice steak dinner and was refused service. It was stated that a private party was taking place. No less than 5 minutes later he called to ask if they would accept walk ins and was told a table will be waiting upon her (he assumed it was a lady talking) arrival.
Well where did the private party go? This place does NOT deserve patronage. My son has his own hard earned money and was willing to give it to such a trash establishment. Looks aren’t always what they seem but the power of patronage can be the leverage of a successful business. I hope your establishment gets exactly what it deserves.

I had an amazing time at Il Mulino Prime. When you order a glass of wine you get slider and some chips. I liked them! I ordered something like a picture under today’s special appetizer(I forgot the name of it). It was sweet and delicious. I had a main dish tomahawk steak. I cooked medium rare. It slipped gently down the throat while eating. Last I had chocolate cake they make homemade cakes. You should try to have all cakes!
