Outstanding experience thanks to the maître d’ Sylvia & server Romina I had a big important catering order for pick up and was honestly so impressed by the level of care and professionalism and packaging. Sylvia was amazing— responsive, polite and incredibly helpful every step of the way. She made what could’ve been a stressful order feel effortless. They both made this pick up possible for the vip client as it is their favorite restaurant in nyc and in miami and the service was top-tier. Also shout out to the chef there for going above and beyond on making a special side dish the client requested that was not on the menu. This is what great hospitality looks like! Spectacular place amazing food great service Will be back. It is a gorgeous place wish we could stay outside but it was stormy. Our server was so nice so pleasant and was there for us anytime we needed it. The food was spectacular The mixed drink was so tasty and my friend said her wine was really good. We have a lunch special I have the sea bass It was delicious The lentil soup was out of this world and the desserts the chocolates and the cannolis were so delicious. Thank you for making our last stop in Miami one of my favorites thank you.

I’ve been coming to Il Mulino for over 10 years and this was one of my favorite restaurants in South Florida. Not sure if it was due to the renovation, but there was a noticeable drop in quality on my last visit to celebrate a joint birthday. How can you get rid of the zucchini chips??! And the bruschetta and Parmesan were bite sized. For folks coming here for years it’s a bit of a shock. Took us 30+ mins to get our cocktails and the new additions to the menu were underwhelming. Kudos to the staff, Jimi and team, for making a real effort to ensure we still had a good time despite the changes they’re dealing with.

Ivan, our wonderful waiter, struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. Every dish was delicious, served hot, and beautifully presented. The abundance of complimentary treats from the kitchen was a delightful surprise and truly elevated the entire evening. It was my first time here and the place is very elegant, old fashion and romantic. The service was outstanding, Daniele and his staff were very friendly and always on top of everything . I liked the fact we were offered three different small complimentary appetizers. We decided to order from the prefixed lunch menu to make our business lunch a little fast . The food was ok but not WOW delicious. The grilled octopus salad had no taste at all . My friend’s first course had to be replaced and she opted for the same salad I had and she only had a bite and offered me the rest . It seemed like a totally different salad , much better than the one I originally had. My second course was very good but my other two friends’ second courses were not that good , just like my salad . They were ok. Food presentation deserved only 3 stars. I’ve heard so many nice things about the food from this place but perhaps I should try the regular menu or come at dinner time . Il Mulino located in coconut grove years ago was one of my all time favorite places . Not sure if they are the same . Definitely I would like to come back to this one and try their cocktails and some other items from the regular menu

With its stunning patio views overlooking Acqualina Resort’s pool and a partial ocean view of Sunny Isles Beach, this is a restaurant I’ll definitely be returning to.
It was love at first bite. Especially after being spoiled with complimentary appetizers during Valentine’s Day weekend. The experience began with hand-sliced Grana Padano cheese, aged 18 months, followed by crispy zucchini chips and fresh tomato bruschetta, all perfectly paired with their house-made focaccia bread.
I arrived at lunchtime, which allowed me to take advantage of their incredible $35 three-course prix-fixe menu. This is easily one of the best lunch specials in Miami. My meal selections included:
Vongole – Clams delicately sautéed in a white wine sauce.
Mediterranean Branzino Fillet – Served with a caper lemon sauce.
Torta Della Nonna – A classic lemon infused Italian dessert, which I enjoyed with a cappuccino.
Beyond the delicious food, what truly stood out was the impeccable service. My server, Daniele, provided the best service I’ve ever received in Miami, on par with 4 and 5-star restaurants in New York or San Francisco. His menu recommendations were spot on, he was friendly yet professional, and his team ensured my glass was always full and that I had plenty of focaccia to enjoy with my meal. 4 stars. First time going to Il Mulino. Atmosphere is great for a night date, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Their menu is varied and service was very good. The food, however, was 4 stars at best – and the price tag was far from fair. They are practicing downtown NY prices and even though Sunny Isles is also expensive, their food did not deliver as their prices suggested. Very simple and just not that good. Frankly, we are not going back.
