Best tasting Italian restaurant I’ve had since moving to NJ. Food and service were phenomenal. My girlfriend and I got the carciofini montenegro artichoke appetizer and it had an incredible blend of flavor and texture. The entrees were the same where I got the veal chop (huge portion and perfectly made red sauce) and my girlfriend got rigatoni bolognese (savory, very flavorful). For desert we got the crème brûlée cheesecake which was 10x fresher, natural and more tasty than Cheesecake Factory. Marino who is the chef took our order and knows how to run a good business. Overall great service by everyone who works there and the place was romantic and cozy for a nice date.

Pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and hospitality at this quaint restaurant. We attended a party here and the amount of food surpassed some weddings we’ve attended stateside. We appreciated the variety and uniqueness of the appetizers that were shared family style. Pasta and entrees were tasty and portions were overly abundant. We enjoyed the intermezzo of lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate between courses. The after dinner liquors offered by the host/owner were a nice touch. We can’t recommend Il Monello enough.

Immaculately prepared and absolutely delicious food. Chicago has some Italian restaurants that I like, however, nothing holds a candle compared to the food at IL Monello.
Each dish was an amazing experience for flavor, texture, and smell. From the appetizer to the dessert, the entire meal was a feast for all the senses.
Unfortunately, our order was slightly delayed compared to our neighbors despite us ordering first. However, this was rectified with a complimentary wine for the table. So service was very good to us that night!
Would come again whenever Mendham reappears in the flight itinerary.

OMG what a treasure this place is . The place is absolutely amazing. The short rib meatballs were incredible. The crab and lobster raviolis were a must for us to get . We got the Osso Bucco and it was falling off the bone and they are also great at any fish dish Very reasonable prices and generous potions

We had our dad’s celebration of life here and it was so special. They were so accommodating and the service and food were great. It was a true celebration and I cant thank the staff there enough for making our vision to celebrate our dad come to fruition.

You really won’t find a place with more friendly and generous service than Il Monello. And the food is somehow even better. They start everyone off with complimentary cheese, salami, and a really good eggplant dish with your bread. We got a complimentary appetizer along with the ones we ordered and complementary sorbet for dessert. They were also extremely willing to making substitutions and changing things in a dish for us. Every dish was so good, can’t say anything bad. I recommend the arancini rice balls appetizer and gnocchi for sure!

I attended a rehearsal dinner here and the service was excellent. The food was great as well and the menu for the rehearsal dinner was very comprehensive. I especially enjoyed penne vodka and the dessert. Great place for a get together!

Bravo!!!! Such an amazing experience. Food quality superb, portions are hearty and the energy put into the experience was top notch. We had a large party of 11. Appetizers of burrata, calamari, meat balls were so tender and melted in your mouth. My fav zucchini flowers!!! The food was piping hot and the dessert was a nice sweet special lime and raspberry sorbet Everyone enjoyed their meals and we couldn’t have been happier. A true gem in Peapack. We brought 4 bottles of wine and even purchased one from the chef owner Martino couldn’t have been more perfect. Don’t walk. Run.

I went there for my birthday dinner with a bunch of friends and we experienced the best service ever. The chef came out to talk to us various times, gave us an appetizer on the house, and sang happy birthday with the crew.
The food was amazing as well! We got free slices of parmigiano reggiano and bread before food came. The lobster ravioli tasted great, with a lot of flavors inside. Same as the truffle ravioli. All the pastas were cooked to the T. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone looking for a good time!!
