Where do I begin with this wonderful establishment? Well, I’ve been going to Il Giardinello for 4 years now, and both before and after the change of ownership the food and service has always been reliably phenomenal. I usually get Bill, as our groups server, and he is extremely attentive, kind, and has a varying knowledge of the menu. I always bring my family, friends, boyfriend, and anyone else to Il Giardinello whenever I have an excuse to go there. Another hidden gem within Toms River! Your staff and food are just delightful overall, I have so many kind words!!

Excellent dinner. Wait staff is always on point. kind, friendly, and attentive. The manager is very thoughtful. Made sure every guest felt that they had special attention. The food is obviously great. My husband said don’t sleep on the carrot cake. I LOVED my cappuccino.

Girls trip to the beach and we wanted authentic Italian food. Giardinello’s did not disappoint! Our server Billy was very kind and informative (and a great picture taker) We took his recommendations for a lot of the appetizers and he knew what he was talking about! So good. The Vodka Rigatoni and clams oraganto were the stars of the show if you have room for dessert definitely try the Carrot Cake. Next time we are in the area we definitely will be coming back

I have to say it was one of the best and most enjoyable restaurant experiences I’ve had. And we go out a lot! I was highly impressed with the waiter Billy’s, wonderful personality, knowledge of the the food, and extremely excellent service. The food was second to none and the portions were huge! I could go on and on. Will definitely be back and it will be the first recommendation to my friends and family, perfect for any occasion.

We had dinner here with all of our friends and family after our wedding in mid October. What a great experience! The owners were so easy to work with during the planning of everything. The food was very good. The staff was awesome. The atmosphere was perfect for what we wanted. All in all, I’m very glad I picked this restaurant to have our wedding dinner at!

We made a last minute decision to come here and we were definitely not disappointed! It is conveniently a BYOB. Probably the best stuffed rigatoni ala vodka I’ve ever had! My whole party enjoyed their meals. Staff were friendly and accommodating and service was prompt. Our waiter has worked there since the late 80s…wow, what a testament to a great business!

Food quality has definitely gone down. I never expected to be served frozen meatballs from an Italian restaurant especially not in the winter slow season. Food was warm not hot, meatballs served cut in half and dried out, I would even bet they were reheated leftovers, sausage undercooked. Would not come back. I should have been credited for food that was not editable. Since I paid full price for food not eaten feel free to tip your servers that I have already overpaid for my uneaten meal.
