This is the second time we are back here in a month and we think the downstairs is better for the noise level. The folks next to our table were loud and we couldn’t hear each other. This is very same reason we haven’t been to Aroma. The noise level is through the roof and annoying. Our appetizer special and burrata was excellent. So were all the entrees and the cappuccino. The service was on spot and we would definitely be back but would prefer downstair seating.

Going to work my way backwards here because the bread pudding was the highlight of this dinner! So brilliantly put together with all the components of the warm pudding with cold ice cream and a fruity break with the peach. You must try this. The risotto was yummy as well as the pastas. But our fav was the appetizers, we had burrata and the octopus. Octo was crispy and charred and had an interesting pairing with the olive and pancetta. Burrata was just an ol reliable! Staff was friendly and ambiance was a good mix of fancy but not pretentious. Great margarita (strong) and espresso martini (creamy & sweet)!

My wife and I relocated to Charleston SC two years ago having lived in the Hudson Valley our entire lives. Before leaving we had dined at Figlio several times and always found the food and service impeccable. We returned this evening to see if anything had changed. Simple answer is NO! Still a first class dining experience, terrific service (thank you Julie) , talented bartender. Excellent food. We shared a pasta dish as an appetizer which was excellent. I enjoyed an excellent duck entree while my wife order the baby lamb chop special. Ended with some gelato and an expresso . It does not get any better! Located in a strip mall in Fishkill seems like an unlikely place for such a well appointed venue supplying extraordinary food. If this place was in NYC it would be a huge hit !

My husband and I came here for a date night and we were so impressed. The decor and vibe were welcoming and modern elegant. The food was homey and elevated at the same time. I would definitely come back because I want to try everything on the menu!

It was perfect experience to enjoy tasty Italian foods. Staffs are extremely kind, gentle, and professional. Foods are definitely perfect and delicious. Especially the special truffle risotto and beef carpaccio was fantastic. I left my jacket but thank you for finding mg jacket.

My husband and I just had our second visit to Il Figlio. We love the design of the restaurant. Between the design and top notch food, this is a fine dining experience. Friendly wait staff. The owner is seen out and about, seating customers, sitting with customers, and we were told he is involved with everything from cooking to clean up and it shows! The food was phenomenal. We both had the 20 layer lasagna and I have never eaten so slowly to literally savor every bite. As my husband cleaned his plate, he said he already can not wait to come back.

5 STAR……..but took 2 away and here’s why. I travel and love to dine and give honest reviews so here’s my take on il figlio. Food was amazing. Well portioned and very flavorful that’s a 5 star. Decor was upscale and well worth a 5 star. Service was impeccable on point, owner (or manager) cared enough to make rounds and ask patrons how’s their dining experience, so that’s a 5 star. Hostess takes 1 star away. When I was first seated was offered the drink menu and naturally I asked for my cocktail drink but was quickly told that someone else will take my drink order. That’s a fail cause the right answer should had been either I’ll let your server know or I’ll have it brought right out. Before anyone chimes in on that’s not the hostess function, let’s not forget, this establishment is labeled as fine dining, cost and atmosphere suggests just that. Moving on to next star takeaway. Server takes another star away. Between the noise level and my server wearing a mask (yes I know Covid) it was extremely difficult to hear what she was saying. Now my personal thoughts. Others suggest the noise level is high. I do agree but not a reason to take a star away. Seating feels cramped but that’s also not a reason to take a star away. I didn’t get a chance to sit at the bar but from my vantage point, bar is beautiful. Overall, very good dining experience and look forward to my next visit and maybe just maybe my gripes would had been addressed and corrected. Il Fligio Enoteca…..you have a very good establishment here wishing you the very best!

Food is always exquisite and delicious. Atmosphere is romantic and not overwhelming. Staff is knowledgeable of the dishes and incredibly friendly. Selection of food is small but specials help to add a little more. Just know if you go in thinking you are going to get an item already on the selected menu that you most likely will be ordering something on the special. Deserts are also a highlight to the meal, Great selection and all incredibly delicious. Overall a must try for anyone looking for a nice place to eat with good company
