This one-man restaurant is fabulous. The chef is the cook, waiter, and the heart and soul of the place all in one. He exudes such enthusiasm that you can’t help but feel comfortable here. If our vacation had been just one day longer, we would have come back again.

Went with my friend there and both of us are picky eaters. The menu is not big but ALL of the dishes there are 10/10. Same for the wine. Excellent! Rafael was such a great chef and also very kind and friendly, was generous with the portions of the food.
We randomly met him in the city the next day and we were so happy to see each other. If you are in Menton it’s a must to go there! Hope to visit there again

Fresh and delicious Italian home made pasta. The owner is very kind and helpfull! This was my favourite place to eat dinner during my time in Menton. And the best Italian pasta I’ve ever had! Loved it❤️

This intimate outdoor restaurant is perfect for an inexpensive, exceptional Italian dinner. The owner/chef is a one man show, and he was as gracious and friendly as he was talented. I highly recommend il faro for a casual traditional Italian meal while enjoying a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea. I will return.

Discovered by accident as we walked past and fancied a “snack”. Ended up sharing enormous plate of perfectly cooked salmon tagliatelle sitting outside, looking at the Marina and Mediterranean beyond.
Everything is cooked fresh by the lovely, attentive owner. So pleased we decided to stop here. 100% recommend.
