A neighbor of mine recommended Il Dolce when I was in search of miniature Italian pastries. I got three each of seven different kinds. My guests went wild! Each pastry was a masterpiece. Reasonably priced, considering the quality. When you walk in the shop, the display case looks like a work of art! We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Stopped in on my walk back from another establishment just because I could smell that fresh Italian pastry smell (almond?) from the sidewalk. It smelled soooooooo good. So happy I stopped in here because I bought the best cannoli pastry I’ve ever had, ever. Both the pastry and cream were so fresh. The cannoli cream was legit, thick cannoli cream like I remember from the old school Italian bakeries back in the day. I can’t wait to come back here and try literally everything else.

Nice Italian bakery with lots of fancy decorated cakes, cookies and delicious looking baked goods. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and they had a limited selection of breads. We had a mini lobster and an apple turnover with a cappacinno at one of their small round tables. Very tasty. Warm atmosphere and friendly help.

This place is kinda dirty. I went there to get a quick gift for a friends birthday, I didn’t particularly like the pastry before they are very dry and sit in the cases for a while before their sold. The old man with the dark glasses went to fill the box with pastry and dropped it on the floor then proceeded to pick it up and continue to go to put the pastries in the box. When I had asked him to get a new box he got aggravated rolled his eyes and threw the old box on the counter right in my direction (probably to be used again as soon as i left the store and it would be the nexts person box) I told him no thanks and walked out. I mean if you’re that comfortable to drop a box on the floor and pick it up again it tells me you do this a lot and i wonder how things then go behind the counter with people food. He then followed me out to the car yelling its very hard to understand and i just kept asking him if he really thought dropping food on the floor and trying to hand it to a customer puts him in the right. Tells me this place ain’t clean. I wonder who got the floor box after me. Stay away

I just recently moved into Hawthorne a few months ago and I was dying to find a Bakery that just made pastries and cookies along with more great stuff and when I found ll Dolce I fell in love lol. By far the best Bakery out there. Staff is super friendly and the owner is very nice as I got to meet him last night when I went in to pick up these amazing goodies. I absolutely love everything in there but these remind me of my good old days from when I was younger. I definitely and highly recommend ll Dolce if your ever in Hawthorne or just passing through I promise you won’t regret it

What a cute and amazing bakery! They have so many options to choose from. Numerous cakes, cookies, and did I mention pastries galore!!! I was brought back to my childhood as I saw delicious treats I had not seen for many years. The owner is very helpful and kind. You can even sit down and enjoy a pastry inside with their available seating. There is plenty of parking too in the neighborhood.
