It was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The food felt genuinely authentic, with comforting, traditional Italian flavours and some really thoughtful seasonal options.

We shared a few dishes for lunch (photos attached – they look delish )The antipasto was fresh and generous, perfect for the table. The inferno pizza had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the base was nice and crisp, it was definitely my favorite. The parmesan risotto with foie gras was super creamy and indulgent.

The seafood linguine aglio e olio was packed with flavour, with plenty of fresh seafood. The baked seabass was cooked beautifully and kept simple, which really worked. We also ordered the cheese platter, which was great for sharing and had a good mix of flavours.

Dessert did not disappoint !! The chocolate Etna was rich and satisfying, and the tiramisu was classic and well balanced.

Staff were friendly and attentive. and the cosy, old-building atmosphere made the whole meal feel warm and relaxed. Great portions, perfect for sharing with a group. Would definitely come back.

We stumbled upon this Michelin-starred restaurant while strolling down the street. Despite not having a reservation, they were incredibly accommodating and promptly found us a table. The daily special menu, displayed prominently on a blackboard. There’s a regular menu. We tried items from both, all were good.

We indulged in a delightful array of dishes, including the refreshing Mango Tango drink, the creamy Fresh Burrata, the succulent Boneless Chicken Thigh, the aromatic Saffron Spaghetti with Grilled Prawn, and the decadent Affogato. Each dish was meticulously prepared, bursting with freshness and flavor, without any overpowering saltiness. The pasta dish, in particular, surpassed my expectations and rivaled the culinary delights I had experienced in Naples.

Highly recommend Spaghetti Vongole and lamb shoulder.

Our culinary adventure was so enjoyable that we couldn’t resist returning for dinner. As we were leaving, we couldn’t resist making a reservation for another dinner, eager to savor more of their exquisite cuisine.

The food was good and well prepared, though prices are on the higher side. One downside was that one of our friend’s dish was served much later than the rest, so we waited to eat together. By the time everyone’s meal arrived, some of the food had gone cold. While we chose to wait, it would have been better if dishes for the same table were served closer together. Overall, a nice place, but service timing could be improved.

Excellent food, service, and environment.

However, we didnt quite understand 50% the English language spoken by the waiter who took our orders. This could create confusion. Maybe he spoke Italian English. We could only understand Malaysian English.

We ordered a special pizza of the day, $68. We requested a tuna version because my friend couldnt eat beef. The waiter agreed. We were served an excellent tasty pizza. But we were not sure if there was any tuna on the pizza. I mean, three of us couldnt recall tasting any tuna on the pizza. So, either there was so little tuna on the $68 pizza or the waiter forgot to tell the chef to put tuna on the pizza. I strongly recommend waiter to write down the orders of customer next time yeah.

The steaks were excellent. It came with tasty mushroom.

Ambience is cozy and European.

Pizza is average and crust was hard, I didn’t like it and felt a Michelin recommended restaurant should do better. Staff says the dough was just prepared hence cause the dough hardened. Not sure what that means..
Anyway… sorry to say, Dominos Pizza does better pizza.

Pasta was good and I think is the saving grace from my dining experience.

The Chicken with spinach was average .too milky creamy for my liking

Tiramisu is ok not Fabolous

Overall I don’t think the food is that incredible but might come again just for pasta only.

Service ambience reminds me when I was in Napoli. Staff were taking loud and chatty but instead of speaking Italian, they were speaking in Indian and Bangladesh…

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting this Italian restaurant, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, the service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring.

A special thank you to the manager, who was incredibly kind and professional. One of the dishes turned out to be too spicy for us, and it was replaced immediately without any questions or hesitation. This level of hospitality truly impressed us and made us feel truly welcome.

The food was simply amazing. The pasta with shrimp was cooked to perfection — rich in flavor with perfectly tender shrimp. The carpaccio was so delicious that we could have eaten it endlessly. And the lamb was unbelievably tender — so soft it literally melted in our mouths.

This restaurant perfectly combines authentic Italian flavors, high-quality ingredients, and exceptional service. We left with only positive emotions and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food and genuine hospitality.

We felt that the food quality didn’t quite match the premium pricing, and it left us wondering how it earned the Michelin recognition.

Each dish tasted alright, but nothing truly stood out or impressed — something just seemed to be missing.

Overall, it’s a decent dining experience, but the flavours and execution could definitely be elevated to justify the cost.

We ordered the Il Bacaro pizza and a mushroom risotto, together with an iced lemon tea.

Good:
– the pizza was super nice! The crust wasnt exactly thin but it felt fresh, wasnt dry and hard. The ingredients were flavourful and fresh, and they all went perfectly together.
– the mushroom risotto was perfect in terms of the flavours, the texture, and the balance of rice and mushrooms.
– the iced lemon tea was refreshing and definitely helped with the hot weather.
– the staff were friendly and explained the daily specials well (using their signature blackboard)

Can be better:
– the lighting was a little poor in my opinion

Overall a pleasant meal.

The pizza was excellent — the crust and toppings were perfectly balanced, with a light and nicely blistered base.

The pasta was cooked al dente, simple and well executed.

The risotto was rich and flavorful, though I personally would have preferred it slightly more al dente for a bit more texture.

The beef, which was ordered medium well, unfortunately came out closer to well done. The mashed potatoes were also a little dry.

Still a lovely spot overall, and the pizza was definitely the highlight.

Definitely not what we’d consider authentic Italian. My wife is Italian and felt it didn’t quite hit the mark. The alla Norma tasted nice but was quite greasy, with a slightly margarine-like flavour. The gnocchi itself was good, though the sauce was a bit intense and included oregano, which felt more suited to pizza. Service was good. Overall, it didn’t feel like Michelin experience.
