They offer a solid bottomless mimosa deal—$40 for two hours—which I definitely took advantage of, while my fiancé tried a cocktail from their menu.
Food Highlights:
Ikos Crisps ($25): Highly recommend! It’s a massive portion of thinly sliced, assorted vegetables. Absolutely worth the price.
French Toast Crème Brûlée: Incredible. The whipped crème brûlée topping was light, airy, and delicious.
Food Lowlight:
Ikos Delight: I had mixed feelings here. The octopus was extremely salty, though the staff graciously offered to remake it. Even with a new batch, the fava bean spread completely overpowered the octopus. I’d recommend serving this dish differently to let the octopus shine.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience and plan to return to try their dinner service soon.
The drinks were just as good, well made, refreshing, and paired nicely with the meal.
The vibe is warm and comfortable, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. On top of that, the hospitality is outstanding, attentive, genuine, and relaxed, never rushed.
IKOS is one of those places you’re happy you went out of your way for.
Highly recommended.
The food was delicious from start to finish. The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the fries with truffle oil were crispy and seasoned just right, and the drinks were well made and refreshing. The lobster pappardelle was rich and satisfying, and the octopus was tender and comparable to the ones I’ve had in Greece, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
Everything was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Greek food, amazing vibes, and a fun night out!
We dined on a Saturday night (8pm reservation) and there was a live DJ. It’s definitely upscale dining but modern, fun feel so it never feels stiff or uppity. The staff were all wonderful, so warm and inviting. Our server, Pietra, was amazing and truly made the experience. Everyone in my group loved their meals, not a single complaint. Highly recommend this restaurant, and can’t wait to come back.
The atmosphere hits that perfect balance: stylish and inviting without feeling stuffy, with a lively energy that still lets you have a real conversation. Everything felt intentional—lighting, music, table spacing, the overall vibe—like a place built for celebrations and for random “let’s treat ourselves” nights. You can tell the team takes pride in every detail.
The service deserves its own paragraph. Attentive without hovering, fast without rushing, and knowledgeable in a way that makes you trust every recommendation. A huge shout-out to Konstantinos Chantzis, the General Manager, who was truly the best—present, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure our night was perfect. That kind of leadership shows, because the entire staff operated like a well-run machine, but with real hospitality.
We started with the fried calamari, which was exactly what you hope for and rarely get: crisp, light, perfectly seasoned, and not greasy for a second. Then we did the Pikilia and chose tzatziki, hummus, and babaganoush—all three were fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with care. The presentation was clean and modern, and every bite tasted like quality ingredients treated the right way.
For the mains, Carolina ordered the broiled branzino with lemon/wine capers and lemon potatoes, and it was restaurant-level impressive—beautifully cooked fish, bright Mediterranean flavors, and that lemony, savory finish that keeps you going back for “one more bite.” I went with the lamb chops, and they were absolutely fantastic—tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and plated like they belonged on a magazine cover.
Bottom line: IKOS delivered on everything—atmosphere, service, presentation, and truly high-end food quality. If you want a place in Jersey City that feels like a celebration and tastes like it, go here. Highly recommend, and we’ll 100% be back.
