Going to Ikes is great but Ikes lair is different I recommend take out instead of eating in but there is some chairs . Don’t come here for the bathrooms dirty and the lock is scetchy you can barely wash your hands the foist was in the corner of the sink and water preasure was really lllllllooooooowwwwww but great food so that’s why you should get take out . in conclusion don’t go to bathrooms they have great sandwiches and get take out. Best sandwich in my opinion Sourdough ,green pesto ,tomato, artichoke , lettuce , yellow mustard (best part ) ,olives .

I went one afternoon after the gym before closing. Have visited this location multiple times but haven’t most recently. Sandwich was not with $15! He nuked the chicken in microwave and made it so chewy and tough. It was flavorless and not with the price or time waiting for this mediocre sub par sandwich. Would not recommend. Togos is better and Delucchis is far superior for less the cost! And if you want to stay and eat there, don’t. The oven is soo loud you can’t hear yourself think let alone order.

This is one of the larger Ike’s sandwiches location. It’s clean and the staff are friendly and make the sandwiches quickly. My only complaint is that there’s no parking in the area but this is a common problem with Redwood City downtown in general. One of my favorite sandwich spots!

I came into Ike’s and my fiancé and I shared two sandwiches. The service was good, the sandwiches were good. The ambience is a bit lacking and could be improved (larger tables perhaps). The parking situation is horrible, I would encourage them (employees/owner) to have dedicated parking elsewhere and so the front spaces in front are left for customers (I witnessed two employees leaving, both of whom were parked in the prime spots right in front). The chicken could have also been warmed up on the sandwiches. Finally, prices could be a little lower and/or they especially shouldn’t nickel and dime (or two quarter, as the case may be) for things such as a cucumber on a sandwich.

The sandwiches and staff are amazing! A little pricey, but if you’re hungry for a great sandwich, this is the place!

My Foxy Boxy sandwich promised horseradish sauce and did not disappoint! Serious bite you only expect at home 🙂 The youthful cashier wasn’t the most welcoming, but everyone else seemed pretty nice. Local feel, with halal chicken offerings, too.

When this place only had a few spots, they were good but now that there are locations popping up everywhere, they seem like a chain restaurant and the quality has gone down. I got the vegetarian sandwich and it was just ok. I was disappointed that they used those little frozen soy nuggets you can get from the grocery store in the frozen aisle. No seasoning. Just sauce slathered on with lettuce and tomato. The sourdough bread is always good. My fiance got a vegetarian sandwich and he said the bbq was too sweet and tasted more like sugar than bbq. It was really messy too, way too much sauce dumped on. His had the same little frozen nuggets too. If I’m paying that much for a sandwich, it better be decent at least.

First time customer and wow these sandwiches are good. Got the spiffy tiffy which was loaded with flavor. Sourdough bread was also delicious.

Good sandwiches, good service, and unfortunately looks like a place that needs a lot of care. Owner, please invest a bit in the location and you have something good on your hands. I’ll be happy to revise the review accordingly.
