I just went here for my birthday for the $50 buffett as a referral from someone. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. Most of the food did not taste fresh. The rice tasted burnt or smoky not sure if it was supposed to. I felt like there could have been more of a variety. The goat they had was very good and the chicken was tender. The puff puff was tasty. The people were very nice though as well as the decorations. My recommended dishes are what I tried but I did not like them all.

OMG…where do I start?! I absolutely LOVE Nigerian and Ghanian food for starters!
As soon as I arrived, which was a Sunday afternoon 12pm (for the $50 Buffet), they were getting busy! Ok, thats a great sign!
My friend and I were seated within 2 minutes and our server (a guy, but I didn’t catch his name) was VERY ATTENTIVE and gave great customer service! The food was fresh, hot and delicious! The music was gospel, which I love and the volume was up too high or too low, it was just right!
My friend and I could have a casual conversation with no issues! The restaurant was clean and the ambiance (wall paint) is very nice! I left out of there feeling like a stuffed turkey! That food is unmatched compared to any other Nigerian restaurant!
I literally drove 45 minutes away in the rain to taste their food, which I learned about in IG (Instagram), so that should tell you a lot!
Keep up the great work Ike’s Cafe!
I definitely look forward to returning in the near future!

This was first time trying the Egusi and Fufu…. It didn’t disappoint! A friend recommended Ike’s so we thought we would make it a date night. The vibe was chill, the food was great and the service was on point. Victoria was sweet and attentive. She explained how to properly eat it without making me feel weird about it.

We had such a great experience at Ike’s Cafe & Grill! We came to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything was wonderful from start to finish. Our waitress, Kennedy, was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. She truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The food was delicious and came out fresh and flavorful. Kennedy is wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in, Fumi welcomed us with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. We drove an hour to patronize this establishment. We saw alot of hype on social media about the place. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. We ordered a drink and questioned if there was alcohol because it tasted like fruit juice. I believe they charged us for an alcoholic drink when there was none added. The chicken suya and coconut shrimp were good. However, the Jollof rice tasted burnt and the beef suya was very dry. We also ordered the okra and seafood. At first they said they didn’t have anymore then they said they had enough for one more. It was not good at all. It tasted old. Once we received our check, we saw they added a mandatory gratuity for two people. We weren’t happy with that. Not sure if this was an off night for the food, but we’re glad we experienced it.

I was really looking forward to trying this African restaurant, but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations. The food was disappointing — it had an overly fishy taste, and the chicken was quite dry. On top of that, they automatically added a gratuity to the bill and I was expected to tip again, which felt unnecessary.
The atmosphere wasn’t bad, and the service itself was actually good, but overall it just wasn’t worth the price. We ended up paying about $115 for two people, and for that amount, I expected a much better dining experience.

I took a few of my friends that wants to try new food so we went to Ike’s Cafe and Grill. The food was delicious and the palm wine ( Jungle Juice) so good.

We arrived on Sunday February 22, 2026 at 3:45. We were there for the buffett. We drove over an 1hr to eat from the buffett. We were seated at 3:54pm. When the waitress came to our table we asked how do we get food from the buffet. She said the buffett was closed even though the entire buffett was still up. I told her that it was only 3:56 and it closed at 4pm and it is still up. She said we could not eat from it. We told her we drove over an hour to get there. She just smiled and said sorry but we can’t eat from it. Nor could she explain why since it was not yet 4pm. We eneded up ordering from the menu. Food was delicious. But the waitress had a very nasty attitude like she didnt want to be there. When asked for more water and silverware she rolled her eyes. If they did not make you pay a tip for 2 people automatically, she would have got $.01 from us. My husband said he won’t ever come back. I will attempt to come back and try the buffett. But over all, customer service was horrible! This was our 2nd time eating here. 1st time we came on a Saturday and the experience was way better.
