Usually pretty good food for the price. I haven’t been here since 2017 so I was disappointed that food items could not be substituted. Food is still excellent and service is quick it just seems really wasteful that you have to get certain items in order to get an entrée.

Quality has definitely gone downhill. Prices are still very reasonable though so maybe that’s the draw. The meatballs were dry, the mashed potato had very little flavor. It was like the diet version of what this used to be. Garlic bread still amazing, wish it had been warm though. I went at 2pm so maybe the quality is better closer to noon or 7pm?

This is my first time trying the IKEA food, and the food actually gave a first impression. I had the chicken tenders with fries. Of course, I cannot eat the chicken tenders and fries without a sauce, so I went to get ranch with my mother. When I found out it was empty, my mother told the lady who was cleaning the area that the ranch dispenser was empty, but she ignored my mom. Many other people, including me, wanted ranch on the side. It took the workers almost 5-10 minutes to go refill the ranch dispenser. But it also took them another 5-10 minutes to bring the ranch dispenser back, when I was almost done with my meal. I really loved the IKEA food, including the tomato soup, but the service of the workers who clean and monitor the sauce dispensers, soda dispensers, etc. might need to do better to make customers happy. But I understand if they are doing their best. The best workers are the ones serving the food and the cashiers. They are really nice and assist in a way that makes the IKEA restaurant a safe eating place.

This is one of the best places to have a leisurely meal in Houston. Their food tastes like it is a gourmet offering but they charge you fast food restaurant prices. Maybe not to to everyones liking but I always enjoy the meal here. Sometimes I just come here for coffee and dessert when passing by.

My mom and I went here …… and was here for 5 hours. Holy smokes! There is so much to see…. The food is good… Clean organized. Cute stuff. I think knives and utensils were pricey but.. other stuff I think was reasonable. …..they do have stainless steel pots and pans but you have to read them…. The staff helped my mom also find her keys (at the end we lost them)

It was ok. I got the last 2 forks and the last 4 napkins and felt terrible for those behind me. They’re clearly understaffed, and it is what it is. I won’t be eating here again, I’ll do the hot dog downstairs at the end (like I do at Costco). Hopefully they improve as the employee shortages improve.

Had a pretty decent meal for a good price! Staff is just as friendly as the folks who work the showroom, and the Swedish dishes and sweets are pretty good. They are almost amazing for the reasonable price you pay! I had their lingonberry spare ribs and I was not expecting them to be as delicious as they were! Definitely worth visiting the IKEA restaurant even if you aren’t in the mood to shop for IKEA stuff!
