IKEA is a great place for shopping. It offers a wide selection and affordable prices. You can spend hours and hours there without even realizing it. That’s why the IKEA restaurant is essential. Whether you’re hungry and need a full meal or just looking for dessert, you can find everything at the IKEA restaurant. The food is truly excellent — everything is tasty and prepared quickly.
During our last visit, we weren’t hungry, but we needed a little boost in the form of something sweet, so we got some desserts, and I can tell you they were great. We love stopping by this place to take a break from long walks through IKEA.

Delicious buffet for $5. We had the vegetarian meatball sliders, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, fries, corn bread, and mixed vegetables. I had a piece of chocolate and granola bar for dessert. The drinks were delicious- I had the sparkling pear drink and lyngonberry drink. For the price, this was a great buffet.

We got some veggie and plant based balls + chocolate cake. Plant based were better than veggie! Don’t even try veggie!! Chocolate cake was good! Seating was good! Relaxed! We actually wanted the veggie hotdog but that options only available at the first floor restaurant (after the checkout, in case you don’t know) and the ice cream too.

Decent food and filling. The macaroni and cheese was also nice and warm. The eating area has the feeling of a college dining hall. Drinks were self serve and you clean up after yourself.

First time for me to order from the big computer screen…. seems to work well.

This used to be a place with good and inexpensive food. Now you order at a kiosk. Half of them were closed. If you get in line behind a family then you will be waiting a long, long time. Glad I didn’t order the meatball dinner because what I saw being served looked pathetic. You are better off ordering from any fast food joint than this place

What happened to my beloved IKEA restaurant?
The food is now unseasoned, bland and tastes ultra processed. Not to mention all of the prices have gone up! $17.50 for a meatball plate with unseasoned potatoes and peas that tasted absolutely disgusting, a cup of coffee (I remember when it was under $1) and a processed slice of cake.
You’d get a better meal at any other fast food place and it would be hot and fresh.
You’d can’t blame worker cost because you fired all of your cashiers for kiosks that are impossible to navigate creating even longer lines.

I was excited to try IKEA food for the first time! However, it was the most bland and unfulfilling food I’ve ever had. I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies. The salmon was desperate for season, along with the mashed potatoes. I had to try my wife’s chicken tenders instead and her garlic bread as these were at least decent.
Like other reviewers said, there is no seasoning and it is not worth the cost.

I came with my daughters and were excited to try the food for the first time. We ordered meatballs plate, chicken tenders, and Mac and cheese. Meatballs were not tasty. Mashed potatoes were plain and underseasoned. Tenders, fries, and Mac and cheese were ok. We are leaving a little bit disappointed.

Review written 7/28/2025. I regret trying the pretzel here because it was super super dry and stiff and they did not have cheese available for dipping (they only offer mustard). Also you have to order yourself on a kiosk and they only had one employee working and they looked overworked.
