I love this IKEA store but not a fan of the food at all. First time I had eaten here was back in 2018. It was such bland food that I didn’t even try again until today. I was desperate for food and happen to be in IKEA, so it was my only option. Surprisingly I got some ones this time. Chicken tenders, fries, peas were actually pretty good. But the mac & cheese was so tasteless.

There was only one server and one cashier, during peak dinner time, causing a huge line at ordering and at checkout.

Food hall is pretty nice, lot of spots available. IKEA put some of its own lamps, lights and furniture to highlight their own products. Utensils and condominiums are in common area. But the sauce station was a mess. Some ketchup pumps were broken. Soda fountain was under maintained too.

Decent food for a furniture store. I usually go for the meatballs or the ribs. Full of sodium but fast meal at an affordable price. Free coffee if you are part of their loyalty program (Ikea Family). The staff here are very friendly but there’s not enough of them.

First time trying the Ikea restaurant…last time we visited Ikea, the restaurant was closed due to pandemic restrictions.. Ordered swedish meatballs and Stockholm salad…both were really good..in fact I was quite surprised by how good the Stockholm salad was..And the price is very reasonable.. $14 for both..

Service at the cafe is very underwhelming to say the least. Lone server (short guy with glasses) purposely ducked out as he saw me approach the ordering counter and didn’t come back for 5-10 mins leaving us standing there waiting. Then when another worker asked him to come back to take our breakfast order, he promptly informed me that he didn’t have any more waffles, which constituted half the medium breakfast offering and that there was no substituting of another item without an extra charge. Mind you this was less than an hour after cafe opening. On top of that he was very rude in his approach. It just seems that they are out of an item nearly every time I come here. A reflection of a poorly-run operation that could use some improvement and accountability.

Great food experience! Loved the Lemon Cod! Had some meatballs on the side. Tasty, but not too heavy so as to bog you down as you shop. Coffee was good too, and everything was spotless!

Welcome to the IKEA restaurant—I call it the Prison Canteen Simulator. Here, you get to experience what it’s like to be an inmate, carrying your tray while the “guards” begrudgingly slap food onto your plate. When you ask about the dipping sauce options for your salmon, you’ll receive a cold, “Take it or leave it.” Haha! What a unique experience. At least Manhattan’s immersive prison experience charges you extra, here you just pay for the food.

Just today I stopped by IKEA to grab a couple ice creams for my kids. The store was pretty busy , the exit coffee shop not so much. I ordered 2 kids vanilla ice cream cones and a soda. When my number was called out I get to the counter and the young lady working there wants to hand me 2 vanilla and strawberry swirl ice creams , she was very impatient. I told her that wasn’t my order , she insisted very loudly that it was (at this point everybody is looking at me) , I told her no , I would never order this as my kids really dislike the strawberry flavor. She looked at me and barked “You’ll have to get new ones over there and pay again!” , I asked if she couldn’t just replace them and she said said “GO PAY FOR THEM THERE!” while pointing at the ordering screen. I was I’m a rush so I just bought new ice creams . This was a very embarrassing situation , seems like IKEA is more concerned about getting my money than customer service , I have never been to a store where they wouldn’t just replace the ice creams and end the matter right there , on top of that be spoken to like a child. Service in IKEA elizabeth has been way better than this.

Food court is suppose to close at 7pm. But they denied a pregnant woman food at 6:30 pm today. Sorry, but that is unacceptable. No common courtesy what’s so ever. Wouldn’t come here ever again. They don’t deserve to have customers.
