$70.26!?! I’ve been robbed! I mean the food is good, it’s classic hibachi but I’ve had better for 1/3 the price. I really want to enjoy this more but the price is eating at me more than I am the food.

I have been coming here since they opened Dec. 2011. Wow 15 years!!! This is such a great atmosphere for big groups or date night dinner. Benny and his staff are ROCKSTARS!! They take care of us every time we come in. Weather it is a 44 person group like a birthday party. I think we had three hibachi tables that night so much fun, or just a quick bite to eat on a early Friday night. This is one of my GO TO Places!! Thank you Benny for all the hard work throughout the years.

The worst sushi experience I have ever had! The staff and servers were quick, nice and attentive. The sushi was horrible! The cuts were all over the place and the rice was mushy and flavorless. The appetizers were drowned in a brown glaze yet the salad barely had dressing. The miso soup tasted metallic. Were is the salt in the tempura batter? People were allowed to wait in the doorway….doors wide open and it was freezing. Children running wild and it was beyond loud. They definitely need to address the waiting areas especially those patrons with absolutely no respect for others. We will definitely not be returning. I don’t remember this place being this chaotic or the food being so blah….oh well!

I had to write a review as we visited Ijji tonight and unfortunately it was the worst sushi I have ever had. I have eaten at many sushi restaurants in my life including this one. We were so excited to get seated and enjoy our meal. First, I would recommend they use soap when wiping down the tables. Our table was sticky and clearly needed to be cleaned better. I give stars for service as they were quick, attentive and nice. However, the edamame appetizer was flavorless and needed some salt or seasoning, the sushi rice was watery and too sticky. The rice should be more fluffy while still being sticky. We had about 5 rolls and they were all just blah. Not a lot of flavor, again poorly cooked sushi rice, and the fish did not seem very fresh. So disappointed.

Fantastic hibachi experience. My wife and I had a great time. Don’t order saki because they were very generous at the table. I got multiple mouth fulls of free saki. It is pricy as me and my wife spent $200 (with tip and cocktails). Absolutely worth it

The food and service was good. Our food came out fast and was hot. The server was attentive and quick. My only complaint is their spicy is more on the mild side.

Took my shop employees there of 12, the entire Ijji staff was amazing, super polite, and helpful! Food was delicious! Even things I normally don’t like were delicious! Jokes made by the cooks were great! Definitely recommend this place!

The sushi was good, The ambiance was great. Our sushi guy (Gustavo) went above and beyond our expectations, and for that reason alone, we will be back often.

Why 1 star? Portion size was a complete letdown. Otherwise, service was great. Food was good.
First time here. Heard nothing but good things. Came to celebrate Mother’s Day with my 2 sons. Service was good – the guy at the front asked if we wanted to”hibachi” or ? (sorry, forgot other choice), told him hibachi and he took us to the back with another group of diners (4 of them and 3 of us), and sat us together.
I ordered the hibachi steak with calamari and my sons ordered the chicken with shrimp . The chef came over, did his shtick and was ok. Chef cooked the food starting with the fried rice, then the veggies, shrimp, calamari before finishing with the protein.
When it came time to serve the appetizers, I got my calamari first while the Chef finished up the shrimp. Then … he gave each of my sons 3, JUST THREE, shrimp each before proceeding to give larger portions of shrimp to the other group.
At first I thought, maybe the other diners ordered just shrimp? BUT one of them had ordered chicken and got much more shrimp. Now, I am not one to make a big stink and ruin an experience UNLESS its life or death or that level. So I didn’t say anything, but WHAT THE HECK?! The amount of calamari I got wasn’t that much either, but I was the only one who ordered it so there wasn’t anything to compare it to.
Utterly disappointed. What was supposed to be a nice Mother’s Day dinner at a new restaurant was marred by the unequal distribution of appetizers. We left feeling so let down. Oh well, next time we’ll drive to IIji Noodle House in Damonte Ranch.
