Thomas (manager) is the best people person in the business! He and his staff are great at friendly customer service. They all have a great attitude. He does know the business and teaches his staff the right way. He also takes orders, delivers food and is seen by everyone, not sitting in his office being invisible to his team! He relates to his customers in various ways, from conversing in their language to showing a youngster how to make and fly a paper airplane! Great job, Thomas!

Bathroom felt DIRTY. The bathroom sink was full of water not draining. They were talking about being out of clean silverware. We (2 of us) waited 10 minutes to be seated and they seated the people (2 of them) who last came in and got on the list 2 minutes before being seated. We told the manager on our way out the door that he knew we had been waiting way longer and we were leaving because it was completely rude of him.

Our food was great, as usual, as well as the service. Thomas was a delight to watch as he continuously walked around greeting and checking on customers needs, and even entertaining kids with napkins folded into airplanes. We’ll be back!

Seated fairly quick but over 20 minutes to take order, over an hour to get food. Food was over cooked. Not a great experience to visit on Christmas day. Our patience was certainly tested.

Hostes was a nice gentleman I will give them that. The waitress rude slow never once asked if we needed anything we had to flag her down and ask. She couldnt remember what we told her we wanted then couldnt even answer questions. Was rude to my mother who is elder and has to take a min to talk. My bacon was undercooked and English muffin over cooked hard as a brick. Then we asked about discounts no senior discount you have to order from senior menu. Do have military discount only for there meal. Plus we had 6people and 1 child so they automatically added 15% gratitude she wasn’t worth that. Do Not go here.

Previously I had written a bad review because of the poor service my family and I have received from IHOP in the past. Well today IHOP has redeemed themselves. The service was amazing! The host/manager was absolutely nice and respectful. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to get here. Thank you IHOP Springfield!

I feel like i can compare this service to watching a bad movie. You keep thinking it’s gonna get better but left unsatisfied at the end. Initially us entering and being seated was quick, and we got half our drinks right away but everything else was either forgotten or took so much time to get to us even though only a few tables had people. We didn’t receive our water until our food came out and we kept receiving lip service with no follow through. We got 1 straw to use for all our drinks and for 18 bucks for a meal you would expect the portion sizes to not disappoint. Not only did we have to wait long times to receive service or even another cup of coffee but we were printed up a tab which apparently was wrong. We were told that she had to add on our daughter’s 6 oz of apple juice for 3 bucks even though her meal said it came with a drink. Honestly after feeling so unsatisfied and defeated already I had no room to even process anything more so I just paid the extra few bucks even though later on I realized it was their last chance just to squeeze more money out of this over priced and underwhelming food. After much discussion with my wife we came to realize even if they offered us 60 bucks of free food we would turn down the offer. I will never be coming back to this location and If anyone reads this I recommend the Dennys next door. You will receive better service there and no underhanded tactics.
