This is the review i wrote for the ihop seatac airport
My first IHOP experience was in Hawaii last year and ordered a Colorado omelette. I liked it so much
I was in Hawaii for like a little less than two months. while I was in Oahu, I went to the ihop restaurant 7 times the one right next to the HNL air port(we stayed at best western hnl airport). I tried other meals but definitely Colorado omelette was the best and my first and last meal when I was in Hawaii.
Before visiting Seattle, i arrived in Vancouver and did rent a car to go to IHOP. I ordered the Colorado omelette. Ig in Canada they serve an omelette with the source on it.
After Canada trip, I visited Seattle. It was nice but before leaving the us i went to this restaurant(the one close to the Seattle air port)and ordered the omelette. It was so nice then I felt I was ready to leave the us but the flight to Tokyo Haneda was cancelled lol.
The company gave me a free hotel stay and 100 usd meal voucher.
On the next day before leaving Seattle I came to this place again then ordered the omelette in the same table lol needless to say it was so good and I flew back to Japan thank you
To proof my preference , I added the pictures so u can tell the omelettes I ordered were not on the same day which means I came to this place twice lmao
Ps I’m coming to this place ihop Honolulu airport this Sunday and I’ll add pics can’t wait!
– The parking lot is small, so not easy to find a stall
– The dining room was a decent size and looked clean, until I sat down and saw sticky fingerprints on the syrup bottles and flies flying around
– Drinks were good
– Food was just so-so. We had a variety of items which my family rated for me below
– They ran out of ketchup (Yes, ketchup at a breakfast restaurant). But I will give the waitress an extra star for trying her best to find us ketchup packets when she appeared to be the hostess and waitress for every table on her own.
Pancake Combo > I rate it 5/10 as the eggs and bacon were perfect, however, the pancakes and hash browns tasted like they cooked them on the same griddle/pan as the sausages. The hashbrowns were dry and did not taste very good.
Breakfast Sampler > 5/10 > It was an average breakfast and the hash browns were a little dry and not crispy
Chicken Biscuit Sandwich > 6/10 > really good but messy and falls apart easily
Chicken tenders > 7/10 > Good, normal chicken tenders and the fries were decent
Ordered sirloin tips and easy over eggs. Yummy
The steak came out hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. It did taste a bit greasy—like it was fried in oil that’s seen a lot of action—but the savory gravy balanced it out nicely, making the whole dish feel lighter.
The egg was slightly runny in the center, but I actually liked it that way. The hashbrowns, on the other hand, were a little underwhelming—kind of hard instead of crispy, and a bit bland. Only the soft, thicker parts were enjoyable.
Now for the star of the meal: the chocolate pancakes. Wow. Honestly, they saved the day. Easily the best pancakes I’ve ever had—moist, intensely chocolatey, not too sweet, and so smooth going down it felt dangerous (in the best way). I’m still dreaming about them!
The service was kind, the restaurant was clean enough, and the prices were fair for the quality of food. I’d definitely come back—for the pancakes alone!
