Understaffed, I think you should do better. Poor girl is running around by herself with no host, no help, no busser. And your phone keeps blowing up. Food was good, and the server did her best. But keeping the restaurant poorly managed and staffed on a busy day is crazy. This girl deserves a payed day off for doing multiple jobs.

Ihop in Delano the food is great, not the customer service needs some work. I waited 10 minutes just to be seated. Food came out fast. I had the strawberry cheesecake pancake combo with a iced tea. It was $21 a little expensive for pancakes and eggs. They had the radio on too loud. The server never came back to see if I needed a refill on my Iced-Tea. With that all being said, I will be back to Delano IHOP restaurant.

Food was good so kudos to the cook. Ordered for my family of 5 and completely ignored ours orders, never got what we ordered asked for peppers was told they had no more but had some pre cut up but never got them on my kids plate asked for French fries and never got them never got asked for a refill until after I was done with my food. We were the only ones in the restaurant to make it worse

We dined there Nov 28 at about 8pm, after being on the road for over 12 hours. Greeted with having to wait 10 minutes to be seat. Why? Because no one was at the cashier station. Only ever say 1 person working there. Got seated with a clear line into the kitchen. Looked like dishes hadn’t been washed all evening. The table next to us sat with dirty dishes on them for over a half hour. When it was cleaned they just got sat on the floor of the kitchen in a bucket. Ordered the eggs and steak bites. The only good thing was the steaks, my wife ate the pancakes and said they horrible and did think they weren’t even cooked all the way. Saw a family walk in get seated and they abruptly left. When it came time to pay the bill, I paid in cash waitress took the money and brought back my change after counting my change we figured she helped herself to the 18% tip. Me with the wait time and the service she definitely didnt deserve 18% let alone any. As I said in the beginning I just got off the road and had no energy to fight for it. So you get it in the reviews. Speaking of reveiws I should have listened to my gut while reading the bad reviews on your service and left. Because apparently you really dont care otherwise you would have already fixed it.

I dont know what it was if it has to do with the day of the week; but i was really disappointed on how i was served and how we were treated. First if all it felt like they didnt want customers there eventhough the place was empty, and when we got served my mash potato were powdery i had to ask ther server for gravy to hydrate the mash potato, they didnt bring out my whole order, and the server was not attentive at all.

Customer service at this IHOP is genuine. The manager knows how to greet his customers. Our waitress was awesome and ready to help us. Plenty of parking space. This IHOP is located t the Walmart Shopping Center just off the 99 freeway. Very easy off and back on the freeway if you are traveling. Plenty of parking space for your travel trailer or motorhome! Clean restrooms. Clean chairs and tables. I highly recommend this IHOP to eat.

Was so disappointed definitely not like the other ihops I have been to the wait times were outrageous not to mention the service the waitress had her head in the clouds my granddaughter ordered hot chocolate so when they finally brought out our drinks which took forever she forgot my granddaughters drink so I ask about it and was told oh they are working on it she was half done with her food before it finally came I had ordered toast with my breakfast even specified wheat toast never got it and did tell the girls up front that it was my 1st and last time at this location . The majority of the time they were standing around the front counter!

Today my friend’s and I were looking for a nice place to eat breakfast together before a 3 hour drive home. Unfortunately, upon arrival we got seated and ordered food thinking it would be amazing.
An hour passed and our food was not ready, we noticed servers just walking back and forth but no food was served to any tables.
My friend asked for an update on the food and 2 minutes later the food was served unfortunately the food was cold, the plates had missing items and there was no syrup anywhere until we asked for some. The food was disgusting and falling apart on some plates.
I would not recommend this location to anyone it’s probably the worst restaurant ever even McDonald’s serve better food.

Where to start… Worst IHOP by far. We placed our order fairly quickly but waited almost 30 minutes for the breakfast food which was a simple order. They were alittle busy but not bad at all. When the food finally did come out (after being checked on multiple times), the pancakes were cold and gross. The eggs (scrambled) were rubbery. We caught the server and explained the issue and she OFFERED TO MICROWAVE THEM so she didn’t have to wait for them to be remade ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! We refused advising her that we weren’t paying for microwaved food and told her to have them redo it on the fly. She literally brought it back out about 2 minutes later with hot pancakes – the eggs were unchanged but I figured it a lost cause. This tells me that they’re recycling food in the back and not making things fresh at all. We never got napkins, refill on creamer for coffee, or were even checked on after they dropped the food off. I took creamers off the table next to us that had left in front of the guy clearing it and he said NOTHING! Yes – we were charged full price and paid every cent however will NOT be back. They were also carrying plates STACKED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER of people’s food to deliver to tables instead of making multiple trips ♀️As a previous server, there’s a way so carry plates without disturbing the food on them. Great reminder on why we’ve started eating at home more – not worth the $20 an hour for cold food and bad service.

There was only one waitress, and I know she was overworked but she never checked on us after we got our food or if we needed drink refills. My dad’s chicken and waffles was terrible, the chicken strips were overcooked and very salty. My hamburger was undercooked. We had to go pay up front and catch the waitress when she was up there or else we would have been waiting forever for our check. It was overall a really disappointing experience.
