All in all a great experience that lived up to an IHOP expectation. The service was really friendly both days I went. My pancakes were a little dry but that didn’t stop me from cleaning the plate off. Excellent value for 55+

We visited IHOP for breakfast on the very first morning of our trip to Los Angeles, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the holiday. From the outside, the building does look a little dated and run down but don’t let that fool you, the moment you step inside, everything changes. The atmosphere is warm, buzzing, and exactly what you want from a classic American breakfast spot.

The service was superb throughout. Our server was incredibly attentive, checking in on us regularly and even offering drink refills before I’d finished my first one which is something you almost never see back home in the UK. It set the tone immediately: friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming.

The pancakes themselves were absolutely fantastic. I went for the Mexican Tres Leches, while my friend chose the Cinnamon stack, and both were outstanding. Huge portions, fluffy texture, indulgent toppings and everything you’d hope for from a big American-style breakfast. They were so filling that finishing them was a challenge in itself! My only recommendation to IHOP would be to allow smaller stack sizes; the minimum of four pancakes is enormous for the average Englishman. Even two or three would have been plenty.

While IHOP is on the pricier side for a breakfast/brunch venue, the quality, portion sizes, and level of service make it worth every penny. Overall, a brilliant start to our trip and somewhere I would happily return to.

Yikes! The breakfast burrito is not it. Taste artificial somehow the tortilla is very thick and weird. The ingredients are flavorless and lack seasoning. Giving me nostalgia as if I were to be eating middle school cafeteria lunch.

Looking for the best pancake and waffle spot in Los Angeles? I got you!

Stumbled on this spot when I was in Downtown LA for an appointment and decided to stop by cos I had been craving waffles for a couple of days.

I ordered the Original buttermilk waffles (3 stack cos I couldn’t finish 5 stacks) – $8.9
and the delicious vanilla flavored milkshake – $8.99

It was clean and not crowded. The service was very efficient and friendly. My omelet and pancakes were perfect. I will definitely visit that location again. I didn’t have to park my car because I was walking to the 7th Street metro station from the Los Angeles Convention Center. This IHOP was conveniently on my way.

Ordered a to go order this morning that included pancakes. When picked up the order, I asked if there was syrup in my order and the man told me yes. When I returned to my office nearby, my order didn’t have syrup, but had been given gravy instead. During my break a few hours later I returned to get syrup. I told the lady at the counter that I hadn’t received any and she looked confused after I told her. She tried to charge me a dollar and I told her that I never got any in what was supposed to come in my order. She went back to the kitchen, came back and looked at me confused again. I told her I wanted the syrup because I never got any again and then showed her my order confirmation email. She then goes in the drawer hands be syrup and walked off abruptly with an attitude. Completely unnecessary for something so small and something that wasn’t my fault. Unbelievable

I absolutely love the New York cheesecake pancakes I went ahead and made it a combo. The sausage is delicious with the hashbrowns and that layer of extra crunchy hashbrowns always makes me happy.

I help my friend out with his buttermilk pancakes too. It was like eating the clouds of heaven, the cake texture, collapsing, like a warm moist cheesecake sponge made me want to eat more and more
