Food was really good, was surprised. The best part of our visit was how great a nice the staff was. Even though we did have a little struggle with our order the staff being so polite and checking on us more then made up for the snafu in ordering.
One note the water is awful tasting. This it not the fault of employees. The water should come from the soda fountain and not from the faucet you can tell it is faucet water. That is on management.

Customer service horrible. We have lived in Brownsville for 3 years and never visited IHOP and we never ever go there again. Waitress walked us to our table and threw our menus on the table and before we even sat down she asked what we wanted to drink. Never checked on us while we were eating. Other staff members were coming out of the kitchen eating with little bits of food in their hands and talking amongst themselves. I could be wrong but I thought eating while servicing others is unsanitary. Today is 02/21/26 and we were there at 1215am. If you are serious about correcting this issue, IHOP.. I encourage you to talk to staff members or check your cameras.

We had a late breakfast here while visiting. We were seated right away. Our server was great. Joshua I believe is his name. Always attentive with refills. That is a my number one thing when I am eating at any type of restaurants.

We asked to sit outside and they willingly accommodated without hesitation. Server, Pedro, was freaking awesome and attentive, hope yall recognize his work ethic. The food came out great, I didn’t even get to take a picture because I ate it fast! Ill admit my order was a bit of a pain but they got everything right! The restaurant was packed but still clean and well lit area. Food arrived promptly. Restrooms are multi-person but also fairly clean.

Had all you can eat, pancakes. They brought me 5 at first and I ate two there and took three home. Had coffee ☕ and water. It was great service, the pitcher with coffee was smaller than usual, and the pouring part and the mouth looked chewed up.

I was in IHOP restaurant a very long time ago.
But on our way from Padre Island to San Antonio, we were hungry and decided to stop by IHOP for lunch.
It was an excellent experience.
Fast service, absolutely amazing attention of our waitress JL, who took care of our requests.

First time in a ihop in years. First of all I have to say “John” was so welcoming and friendly..best host I have ever seen..you go “John” !!! Now to the food, presentation was awsome! I had the mushroom Omelet and the wife had the classic Benedict. My Omelet was an Omelet..nothing special. I asked for OJ and BBQ sauce, had to remind the server, already had our food and my wife wanted more Hollandaise sauce (Poblano Hollandaise??) Thats not Classic!. They charged $2.49 for 2 small plastic cups of sauce each. First of all I think the server should have let us know the cost so we could make that decision and just not put it on the bill. We are usually 20% tippers, because of the $5 sauce charge we dropped the tip to 15%.
I have to say, ihop is still not going to be a favorite for us.

Newly opened, restaurant and restroom was pretty dirty. We were warned as we walked in by other customers that we might have trouble with the service. We didn’t wait to long to be seated. Our server was super friendly but not very experienced. Out the gate my daughter’s drink was brought incorrectly. Wife ordered the cowboy burger, which had a great presentation also came with a free hair on the bun and a very very crusty plate bottom. Daughter ordered some crepes and a brunch burger with an over easy egg. Egg was overcooked and dry. Crepes were delicious. DIL kept it simple and ordered a classic burger. No issues there. I ordered the Cheesy Bacon Ranch plate with side salad. Entree was absolutely delicious , the salad was absolutely boring ( pile of greens with two slices of tomatoes and a bunch of sliced onion. I even got a crusty plate also for free. Server was very attentive to our concerns and advised management. That’s pretty much where it ended. All in all not a very good visit. Server was really nice but she kept disappearing and it took a while for her to come check on us. Hopefully they get better. Finally got something nice on the east side and it probably won’t survive if it keeps up like this./ 10-7-2023 visit, stopped in for bfast after a night on the town. Looked like a very slow night. Place was clean and quiet. Service was ok, just a tad slow but it was actually an improvement from last visit. Had the steak and eggs with was a roll of the dice considering it’s not a steak house. Verdict?, will definitely not order again. Steak was cooked to my preference but it was very bland and not tender at all. The other people with us had a burger and bfast sandwich meal. Looked delicious. They had no complaints

Came for lunch/dinner. Will definitely be back. Perfection all around, no complaints whatsoever. Carrie was phenomenal and knows exactly what she is doing! 10/10
