The establishment was operating at significantly under capacity, with only 8 to 10 tables occupied out of a larger number. Given the all-day breakfast service, it would be reasonable to expect consistent availability of staples such as coffee and milk; however, this was not the case. The wait time for a table was nearly an hour. Due to the subpar management, I would not recommend this location.

My visit here at IHOP was one of the worst experiences at an IHOP. First off they didn’t have the plate I wanted. The smokehouse combo. I thought that was weird. Our at least that’s what our waitress said. Then I wanted a coke or Pepsi and they didn’t have any fountain drinks. So I really didn’t get to order anything I really wanted. My coworker asked for tea and he said it was horrible. The waitress said staff forgot to mix it up. There was only two servers during lunch a male and a female (Jennifer M.) and the male was ignoring everyone coming in. During my lunch time I saw 4 couples leave within an hour. The picture I took of the guy standing. He waited 15 minutes for no one to acknowledge him there. Our food came out and it was decent but our waitress Jennifer never came back. My coworker tracked our waitress down so we could pay. We literally could have ate and left. I felt sorry for her cause this establishment seems very disorganized and short staffed but she was really nice. Given all the comments below it seems they are aware of how bad it is there but send you to a page to tell you to explain how crappy they are. Save a response to my review. Tourists stay away.

We went in around 2a.m., and got the best service we ever had! We had the biscuits and gravy, breakfast sampler, and California Turkey Melt. Sandra our server, was extremely attentive and made us feel really taken care of! I could tell that she really takes pride in her work, as she was cleaning almost non stop! That is a rarity in many people this day and age. Great food, above and beyond service, and relaxing comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely stop by again in the future!

This was my first time at IHOP in San Antonio. I was greeted at the door by LaTonya who recognized me when I was lost in the street looking for another restaurant. She sold me then about coming over the next time I was in the area to IHOP, so I did.
She is great server, both friendly and patient.
I had the Cinna Stack which will now become my to go for breakfast in the future.

We ordered an omelette, and it turned out good, though there was a noticeable wait for the food to arrive. The service was friendly and decent overall. The biggest drawback is the lack of parking, so plan ahead or be ready to park a little farther away. Aside from that, it’s a nice spot for a casual breakfast.

My table of 3 had by far the worst restaurant experience we have ever had at any restaurant.
The restaurant was nearly empty.
We waiting 30 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Meanwhile the table behind us had been waiting an hour for their food to come.
There were no servers to be seen in the already nearly empty restaurant. After we managed to order, we waiting for another 30 minutes (at least) for our food to come out. The waitress serving our section had to ask the table behind us for their order three times because “someone bumped the ticket.” When our food came out, it was still like dough on the inside of everything. Our drinks didn’t come out until our food did (over an hour into being at the store), and even then only after the waitress had to ask our table of 3 what we ordered (we all just had water and coffee, by the way). By the time we ate, payed, and left, the people seated behind us still hadn’t even received their food. We wished them luck on the way out. I’m not sure why we even stayed, but this will probably be the story that I tell as the worst service/ restaurant experience that I have ever had.

Terrible terrible. It would rate less than 0 if there was an option.Never expected such a terrible experience at IHOP. Waited for an hour for our food to be ready and to get worst food ever, all bacon raw, incomplete order (no whipping cream for pancakes, no butter ), burger served bread no lettuce, no tomato, no cheese and on top of that the server was not even apologetic. He was like this is what we have, take it or leave it. My kids were so hungry after waiting for so long and got disappointed food, if we knew before, we could have just left. Worst IHOP experience ever.Pictures below of our food.

I thought I’d end up with a mid meal and experience since it was New Year’s Day but the stars were in our favor.

It’s my first time visiting IHOP.
Why?
Well, „The Office” is my favorite TV show and since the main character loves it so much, I had to see this place for myself.
I wasn’t dissapointed.
The food – great. I ordered Breakfast Sampler (Hash browns with sausages, spam, and eggs. Comes with classic pancakes), and a Blue Raspberry Lemonade.
Basically, it’s top tier comfort food. The eggs were great, they made them exactly how I like them – yolk runny, yet the egg whites solid.
The pancakes were realy fluffy!
There was some butter on top, and the serving of that butter impressed me.
I mean, I’m from Poland, so maybe we just need to catch up with new solutions, but there was like a small indentation in the pancakes for the butter, and I could dip each piece in it. I mean, that’s pretty cool, no? + the butter was salty, which gave me the perfect balance.
My waitress, Ashley was so patient with me.
My decision making sucks and my english sometimes isn’t the best, but she figured what I wanted, brought the meal and made sure it was alright Thanks Ashley!
The restaurant itself was pretty empty.
I mean, I got there around 3 pm on saturday, maybe that’s why? I wasn’t bothered by it at all, tho. However, I know some people might see it as a downside.
I’m not a resisent so I can’t say much about the prices, but to me they seem decent:)
I’d definetly visit again.
