11/16/2025: Ricardo was attentive and friendly. That’s about all I can say for this place.
The table was smudgy when we sat down. They seated us in a booth right by the kitchen. You would think workers would be concerned for the “dining” experience of the customers, but no. Loud laughing, yelling, singing. A bunch of teens with no understanding of customer service. I’m still young enough to remember the days I worked food service and retail. Absolutely unbelievable how people just don’t care. But wait, there’s MORE! It took 14 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. We sat there looking at each person walking by. No one said a word. By this time, we knew what we wanted, so we ordered the meal at the same time. My friend’s meal came out first, so she sat waiting for mine to arrive. It appeared 4 minutes later. No explanation or apology. It wasn’t even our server who brought the food to us. The eggs were cold and dry. The bacon tasted terrible. It didn’t even taste like bacon! The sausage links and pancakes were okay. The carpet and walls were very dirty. Don’t let the photos fool you. The only good is because I take great pictures. I honestly hate giving anything less than 3 stars, but IHop, you did not earn even 2! Terrible!!

Visiting with Familia:):)!!! Plus Staff was wonderful!! We meet people when washing our hands. If was Cool. “We spontaneously started singing !!! Meet nice people too. Even a Voice actor from Anime . When we walked in the hostesses were very friendly and let us know there was a 25 minute wait, which was fine. We waited around 20 minutes, and then were seated at a broken table that seriously wobbled so much when touched I’m surprised we didn’t lose any food or break any dishes. The food and service was great tho. It’s was $52 for two people plus $20 tip for the waitress.

We went to IHOP with our family including our 2 year old toddler and had a disappointing experience. After being seated, we waited several minutes without being greeted. During that time, the table that was seated after us was greeted and attended to right away, while we were completely overlooked. We tried to be patient, but no one ever came to check on us, so we eventually decided to leave.
We understand that restaurants can get busy, but being acknowledged goes a long way. Unfortunately, this experience made us feel ignored and unwelcome.

From Lubbock Texas, on vacation in Galveston Texas. The food was delicious, coffee ☕ perfect. The server was an amazing young man. Nice, quiet atmosphere. I believe the manager was seated at a table not too far from ours, had his laptop out, a cup of coffee ☕ probably doing work on his laptop but very vigilant, very nice to the employees. Our only complaint is the angry, bitter spanish woman working at the door. We walked up to pay and she immediately and RUDELY told us to go sit down, waving us away. Thankfully the server walked up and took our card and came back with our card and receipt. I wanted to walk over to the manager and report her but didn’t. Maybe he will see this rating. Maybe she needs more customer service training or perhaps another job where she doesn’t have to work with the public.

Came in late night & needed ADA seating away from the booths. They readily accommodated & miss Brenda was an exceptional waitress to us. The food was delicious & we enjoyed our island IHOP tradition.

Very poor service. I waited more than 15 minutes and no one attended to me, and the restaurant wasn’t even full enough to justify such a long wait. The waiters kept looking at me but didn’t come over. This is the last time I’ll visit this IHOP. The staff is terrible. Thank you.

We went on family trip to Galveston and had breakfast on a Sunday morning. We went at 9:30 and still there was lot of crowd. But the wait line moved fast. We had amazing breakfast. I love their veggie options for preparing omelettes. Their omelettes with sides are very filling!

IHOP – Clean restaurant with a happy and helpful staff. The food listed in expansive menu is exactly what we expect, very good very American Breakfast!
From our arrival to our exit we encountered prompt service. Our food cooked as ordered and delivered without delay. Drink refills were no problem.

This is by a few steps the nicest IHOP I’ve visited and I’ve been to several all around the country. The manager and hostess were very friendly when we entered, we were seated immediately and served promptly. The restaurant is s clean and well-maintained. We make it a point to visit when we’re in town.
