They had plenty of waiters doing a great job. 10 tables I could see had no food for an hour but drinks were being brought out regularly. Not sure what the kitchen has going on because we waited an hour and a half for our food and then ended up getting sick after eating. Definitely not going back.

Well, to start with, let’s be honest. The atmosphere of an IHOP is what it is, a diner. That being said, this one was very clean and had very prompt and friendly service. The food, though, is where it was really on point. My girl and I shared a Colorado omelet, blueberry pancakes, and banana-caramel pancakes tacos. Every bit of it was phenomenal. Not one single thing to complain about. Check them out sometime. You won’t be sorry.

The food was served fresh and hot. The server was attending several tables, and was able to take care of all of our refills as well as clean up a spill from a toddler across the way. We went with the Banana Foster Brioche French Toast and the Nutella Crepes. Everything taste so good and the bananas were all firm and not smushy. This was our first visit to this IHOP location, but we will be back again.

Service can be better as far as wait time for being seated and paying and they said they were OUT of ice cream so I was unable to get a shake. However, the food was pretty good and the server was friendly and in good spirits. The establishment was clean. I highly recommend the poached eggs and crepes. The fruit was fresh and tasty.

I guess Belinda is the only person worth anything in the building. She had over 15+ tables on one whole side of the building, the only server out of five that was helping anyone at the entrance. (Literally stayed for almost a hour and never saw anyone else help the door, three of them looked at people, never spoke and kept walking.) The heavily pregnant girl was moving probably faster then she should being as she’s about to pop any second. (Please do not name that baby pancakes if this place causes you to give birth)

Another good breakfast at IHOP the traditional fresh and yummy pancakes, crepes and omelette. Exactly the way we love it. The only thing that didn’t meet the expectations was server’s attitude. Not at all welcoming, seems like she was having a tough time. We ignored slightly considering their were many customers but honestly if other staff was smiling and welcoming then the professional etiquettes require you to at least give a smile to your guests/customers.

The service was lousy. The food lacked… The Grits were soupy, SMH cheese wasn’t melted in the Grits. The beef tips were tough and had way too much worshire sauce. It also had mixed onions ( green, yellow). The beef tips used to be my favorite meal at IHOP. This also used to be my favorite IHOP. The next time I am in Tyler, I will try the one on 64. Oh, and we had to wait to pay our bill. We were told that only our waitress could check us out. The waitress was missing in action for 7 minutes. Yes, I timed her !

To start off with, the food is always great! The kitchen does a great job. But the servers need more training!! On our last visit, they never even offered a refill for us!! And they were completely out of straws! We waited about 15 minutes to get seated with the restaurant at less than half capacity. We go back here periodically, because the food is good, but the customer service is ALWAYS lack there of! We never see the manager, we watch table after table get frustrated with having to wait so long to even see a waiter for the first time, and you’re lucky if once you ever do get your food, that you ever see them again. Other than to bring you your ticket before even asking if you need anything else. Needs better management. It would not CONTINUE to have such terrible customer service, if management was walking around helping their waitstaff or checking on tables to see what people might need. Used to, people had pride in their jobs. It is very obvious how different that is now. We sat and watched two tables last night get up and leave because they never even saw a waiter once, from when they were seated. There were 3 waiters last night and about 10 tables and everyone was getting poor service. THAT is a shame.
