Ordered Eggs Benedict. What I usually order at IHOP. Pouch eggs Holiday sauce. This IHOP had ham instead of Canadian Bacon… They eggs were so over cooked they were like a hard boiled egg. So I just asked for a couple over easy . Of course by the time they came food was cold. Maybe I should have had it redone. Not sure it would have made a difference. When I cut into it. It was shaved ham. Like lunch meat ham. So watching the manager running around, looking busy. He never actually talked to anyone. I attempted several times to get his attention. Seemed when he was running around past our table. He could see me trying to get his attention,but kept going. When I finally got him to come over. I told him my concern. He said nothing about the eggs being overcooked He just said it came with ham. I said not shaved ham. He got a menu as he was rudely went by put it down and told me to read it. We traveled a lot and never have an experienced like this at any IHOP. We have been to this IHOP several times over the years and never had this experience.

Quite a long post but today on 9/30/24 at 11:30 in the morning. My girlfriend and I came to IHOP because I had just gotten off my shift. When we got there the waitress seated us and was decent but seemed a bit unhappy (I would too if my manager was Richard “Richy” Dextre) well anyways I order the breakfast sampler and my gf ordered the tres leches pancake combo. We got our food a bit later and my gf was eating her food. I get ready to take a bit of my meal when on the eggs I see hair. I start looking closer and both eggs are covered in hair. whether beard hair or pubic hair I DON’T CARE i’m not eating it. Regardless, the manager is seating someone else and he approaches me and asks if everything is okay. I clearly state that i would like my meal either remade or taken off the ticket because i was not going to eat this meal in general. He grabs my fork and starts poking at my eggs saying “Well, this isn’t hair its part of the egg” and i’m glad I got photos because he grabbed my plate and started arguing saying “I sell eggs and this isn’t hair but i’ll take it off of your tab.” He tried to gaslight me and was very unprofessional, had a VERY rude tone, and demeanor. -10/10 and if I could give this post a 0 for stars I would. Very unfortunate experience because we’ve never had problems before.

If I could give zero stars I would. Our waiter forgot to put our order in, it took an hour and 14 minutes to get our food. He checked on us once after taking our order, no utensils were left for us either. He completely forgot part of our order as well. This has sealed the deal on not dining at IHOP for us.

Stopped in for a quick meal after a long day. Was seated quickly, food came quickly, but the waitress just set in on the table and went on. Had t wait 10 minutes before she came back to ask for something to dip the fries in. After that never seen her again. Didn’t even bring me my ticket. They were all just standing over there in a group talking. No tip for her. Such a nice place, to bad the service isn’t better.

One meal never came. One meal completely wrong. One meal was more of an appetizer. And the 4th didnt get his drink. Maybe we should have had 5 people so they could get better odds? So for 3 meals (breakfast) and the bill was still $90?????? Hmmmm. My friend was handling it initially, so i didnt look at the bill before I paid it. My mistake!!! The manager actually had the server in tears. We tipped her nicely as it wasnt her fault. Manager should have done MUCH MORE. Picture of buttered bread -not !!! Cream filled cinnabun crepes – no filling at all.

The food and prices are pretty good. Some service good, some reluctant and slow. I had not been in an IHOP in 20 years. I miss the old menu with actually different kinds of pancakes and crepes. Oh well.

After over 7 hours of driving, we decided to eat at IHOP instead of going home and cooking supper and I regret the stop.
Don’t leave a tip on the table and expect to get the correct change when you pay the bill. Left a $4 tip but obviously that wasn’t good enough for the server.
I would highly recommend that everyone wait until after paying your bill before leaving a tip. I wouldn’t have left one after the scam that was pulled on me.
What a joke our experience was. Just made it our last visit. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. This is a pathetic way to increase the tip. Why would the server be deceptive and not give me all change I was entitled to? Then after I asked about the rest of the change I wasn’t given, his response was “oh, do you want the $.94 change”? Food wasn’t good and the service was mediocre but obviously he felt entitled to try and scam me for as much tip as possible. $31 plus change was my bill total, we left a $4 tip which was far more than reasonable but then to pull this deceptive trick when I was paying my bill was totally unacceptable. I should’ve went back to the table and removed the tip we left but instead, we left before I created a scene. This was the equivalent of stealing from the register but adding a scam on to the customer. How many other’s have they done this to?

I have no interests in copying and pasting the link but would come in person to call the server out in front of his boss. Nothing would probably be done since he acted calm like it wasn’t his first time doing this. For all I know, maybe this was part of training to get bonus tips.
I want everyone to know about this so they don’t get scammed.
Best way to get the best/most tip would be with great customer service, not being deceptive and steal from customers.

As a local, I don’t visit this spot very often—usually just once or twice every couple of months. However, I stopped in today and had what was easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and checking in on us throughout the meal. The manager was also very present, walking around to ensure everything was running smoothly and that the staff were supported. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great breakfast experience.

If I could put zero stars I would, but it makes me put 1. I believe my waitress said her name was Michelle, she did not come to check on my table for refills, other servers were coming by to take my plates from the table. We gave her cash to pay for our meal and she came back and asked if we needed change instead of just giving back the money so we could choose the tip. Did not let us know that the restaurant was out of certain food items and we were given the wrong bread for our sandwich and never made sure that was okay with us. Talked rudely to the other server when they were helping bring items to our table, very unprofessional. Would not recommend this place, try somewhere else if you’re looking for good service and food because our experience was terrible.

Had breakfast this morning what a joke Will never go back ordered eggs over easy sausage patties pancakes milk coffee received the milk it was curdled eggs were okay pancakes were not cooked received link sausage rather than patties milk was replaced with orange juice orange juice was hot lol waitress finally showed up with the check asked how it was told her she said she was sorry told her I’ll pay the bill but I’ll never be back oh I’m staying all week outside the Hampton is the restaurant how much did they lose this week terrible place
