The food tastes fine but the service is HORRIBLE. I went here multiple times the first time I came they literally forgot my order. I waited about an hour only then did the waiter inform me that my order hadn’t been placed. I was offered a discount for my inconvenience however, in the end it was never given. My kid was crying from how long they took. Yet, my coupon was never given. One lunch took 2 hours. The second time I came it took 30 minutes for my order to come out. This time it took an hour. The service is so slow, it’s ridiculous. It’s not even that busy yet the food takes at least 30 minutes to come out. Even then it is completely unreasonable. The staff work as if they have all the time in the world. They walk as slow as zombies, if not slower. They are polite but that doesn’t make up for waiting an hour for food. And it’s not just the waiters. The chefs cook so slow it’s as if they are actively trying to take as long as possible. The manager needs to do something about their workers. The manager doesn’t seem to give a crap either. Horrible service.

I ordered an original eggs Benedict with hollendaise sauces on the side. Not only did they forget to put the hollendaise sauce in the back they put black forest ham slices on it instead of Canadian bacon. Very disappointed with the food.

Went took a long while to get seated. They had 3 tables with customers so it wasn’t busy. Roof had a leak so I was given a menu that was wet server didn’t even bother to wipe it off. Sat there for ten minutes no one came to take drink order or nothing. So I said to heck with it and left. IHOP used to be one of my favorite places to go but between this location in Lawrence and the ones in Belton,Mo and Grandview,Mo I have no desire to go to an IHOP again.

All of the employees are wonderful, but Devin the manager ruined my experience. He was rude to customers and employees for simple mistakes. I can tell his staff hates him. Amazing staff, toxic environment.

The food was good but the service was awful. When being seated, we were not offered a high chair and had to get our own. She checked on our table once and I had to call her over to get any additional service. We had to ask for more coffee and more soda to drink. My husband is usually generous, when tipping. She could have easily made a thirty dollar tip. It wasn’t that busy.

Lovely service all around. I was checked up on regularly, treated with respect, and my food came out quickly and perfectly made. Best omelette Ive ever had! My son also seemed to enjoy his pancakes.

There was only two waitresses working tonight and they were hit with a huge rush right after we arrived. Everyone kept their cool. We got our food and it was very good. My eggs were made to order. I am big about having my breakfast served hot and was not disappointed.

Just stopped in at 8:15 on Saturday before KU/KSstate game. There was room in the dining room for 2.actually there were several booths available, spotted throughout the dining room. We were asked how many in our party. A rude manager came up to the hostess and says to him, we are no sitting anyone until we sit the large party of 17. That party was not even on site to be set yet. Mind you there were 2 other parties of 2 after us. We left came to Perkins! Horrible service!
