Overall, we had a decent experience at IHOP. The egg and toast sandwich was good and flavorful, and once it arrived, it was enjoyable. They initially missed adding the avocado, but the staff was very willing to correct it and add it without any issue, which I appreciated.
The biggest downside was the wait time. Even though there were only about five people in the restaurant after the rush crowd had cleared, it still took over 40 minutes for our food to come out. That said, our waitress was extremely helpful, attentive, and did her best to keep us informed, which made the wait more manageable.
While the long wait was frustrating, the friendly service and willingness to fix the order showed good customer care. With faster kitchen turnaround during slower periods, this location could provide a much smoother dining experience.

This one kinda hurts to write. The good up front: the food was actually excellent. Maybe we caught them on a bad day (the day before Veterans’ Day in 2023) but the wait was intolerable. There were five tables of people and one waitress.
The weird thing is that she seemed to be moving a lot but nature of the delay wasn’t clear. She was apologetic which we appreciated but we couldn’t figure out why everything was so slow. The place was pretty dead.
That aside, the staff was friendly and the facility itself was mostly clean. Restrooms were actively being cleaned when we got there so that was also a nice plus.
Overall, despite the good food and nice server, the literal 63 minutes from sitting down to paying just wasn’t worth it. IHOP isn’t (and shouldn’t aspire to be) a Michelin Star restaurant where people wait outside in the cold to get in. IHOPs are great for predictable, solid breakfast grub without the wait associated with a high end place. It’s SUPPOSED to be low key—it’s not a bad thing! During this visit, though, the wait was definitely no in keeping with what one would normally expect.

It was an evening breakfast run and the food didn’t disappoint even though the kitchen was busy. The restaurant was clean and quiet, we were able to sit and have a nice conversation. Our server was nice and the menu is great for kids and grownups alike.

Come here on a regular basis. Food always meets expectations and the service is always good. You do have to ask for the flavored syrups we have all come to love because they are not kept on the table but, that is a minor inconvenience.
They must have some new employees who take pride in their work. The restrooms are some of the cleanest of all restaurants I have visited in the Leavenworth area. There is a horrible sewage pipe smell that is absolutely offensive, but the cleanliness ensures you it is a problem beyond what you can see.

I generally enjoy dining at IHOP, as the food and service are consistently good. However, there has been a persistent issue for over a year concerning an unpleasant sewage odor originating from the bathroom. The smell extends into the dining area, which significantly impacts the overall experience. Several other customers have also commented on it. I find it concerning that this issue has not been addressed by management, as it affects both staff and patrons. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone.

We came to Leavenworth, KS for pleasure and decided to eat breakfast here. Although the signage isn’t huge, you can’t miss it. The restaurant was clean including the bathrooms. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at breakfast and we were seated quickly. We glanced over the regular menu and then the latest & greatest promotion menu and ordered. Staff were efficient and attentive. Food was great and order was correct! If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend this IHOP restaurant.

Overall, the experience was good for the most part. The service wasn’t good after we got our food; she rarely came back. We tried to get hot sauce and had to get up to get it ourselves. The food was great; I loved the cinnamon pancakes.

The food never disappoints but for the past few times we have been, (we don’t go very often, maybe twice a year) the front entrance smells so awful that you’ll lose your appetite if you stand there for too long. I’m not sure if it’s a bathroom issue or what but its been going on for a long time. I can only imagine how the employees feel.

Smells atrocious. Floors were sticky. Honestly just gross in the dining room and makes you concerned about what the kitchen looks like. The food tasted off compared to other locations and the ketchup tasted like barbecue sauce.
