I ordered blueberry pancakes the blueberry was on the side. Cheese sauce for my omelette. No topping or filling in my crepe. I was disappointed, That’s it for this place. I eat it anyway I was so hungry. Do better guys

I am basing my review on comparing this IHOP to other IHOP’s. My son and I have been coming to this location for nearly a decade. I love that it has that nostalgic vibe, the facility itself is still an old school IHOP/Diner. They have freshened up their restrooms which is nice. The restaurant was clean. The food was what we expected. The service was ok. We will definitely go back.

Tonics was the best server!! So sweet and so funny! She killed it!!! The food was so amazing. We live in Alton where they are all closed… and have when downhil so bad!! But this place did not disappoint. I had the gluten free pancakes which were the best around!! And the omelet did not disappoint!! My wife is so picky about her bacon but absolutely loved it!! Such an amazing experience with food and service

Okay, so the inside of the restaurant looked a little worn down and the people working weren’t the friendliest. However, the food was really good! My order was correct. The food was hot. And most importantly…they were OPEN when everywhere else was closed for the night. I don’t think the inside dining area was open, but I was able to go on the IHOP app, place an order, and pick up really good, hot meals in 15 minutes! Since restaurants and retailers (including grocery stores) close by 11PM, this is life changing!!

Maybe if one has coupons this place is worth it but the regular prices are 20-30% too high. The real problem is they do not staff this location probably. It’s been one server covering the whole place. We generally walk out because it takes to long to be acknowledged let alone waited on. We stayed this last time and the server was nice but way too busy. Ended up going up to get our own silverware because eggs get cold fast. I won’t be back.

We ordered gluten free pancakes and a strawberry crepe. My boyfriend has celiac disease, thankfully not anything more than vomiting. They brought out non gluten free pancakes and we heard them talking about it about five minutes before coming over to tell us. We were hoping they were talking about another table but he had already eaten some. They also put no cream or sauce on the crepe. Just a thin pancake with four pieces of strawberry sitting on top. The women working there were inattentive and were more focused on talking to each other. By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to.

I went to this location after a long day of travel to St Louis. Looking forward to some great pancakes. That didn’t happen. The place was empty. Server was nice. Ordered bacon eggs pancakes combo with a extra short stack. I was shocked at the size of the pancakes. I’ve never seen flat pancakes like these. To make matter worse, the bottom two pancakes were covered because the cook broke them when flipping. I didn’t complain due to my fear that it might anger the cook. I sent my concern to IHOP guest relations (case 3691934) on 10/26/2025 and still have not heard back. Very sad. My advice would be to find a IHOP were they take pride in providing a great stack of pancakes.

It’s my first time spending christmas day alone, I didn’t want to be alone all day so I decided to grab some dinner at ihop. My server was rude and short with me and my food was very watery and didn’t taste great. (I got an omelette). $26 for a teary eyed ride home and a not great holiday experience. I understand having to work on holidays and being upset, but as a server myself, I would still at least try to be kind.
