Most likely the best experience I had at an Ihop ever. Went in on Christmas day because we heard they were open and Heather M waited on us. She was always checking in and doing an amazing job, even with it being busy and them being short staffed. Delicious food and so happy they were open. Thank you!

Had a doctor appointment out this way, i live an hour away, we decided to grab food while we were out this way, we decided to stop at IHOP, Clean, fast food. Staff was terrific. Kat was our waitress and she was fantastic. Overall our experience was fantastic. Appreciate you guys! Keep up the good work!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any IHOP—or any restaurant, period.
Stopped in this morning around 11 AM for breakfast, and from the second I walked in, I was greeted by a female server with the most unbelievable attitude. She acted like I was inconveniencing her just by showing up. No smile, no “welcome,” just pure rudeness and eye-rolling vibes right off the bat.
I placed my order anyway, hoping things would improve, but her attitude only got worse—short, snappy responses, acting annoyed at basic requests, and zero effort to make it a pleasant experience. The food came out, but by that point I was so turned off I couldn’t even bring myself to eat it. and walked out without touching a thing.
This location clearly has serious issues with staff training and basic hospitality. If you’re looking for a relaxing breakfast where you’re treated like a valued customer, DO NOT go to the IHOP on Alpine Avenue. I’ll never step foot in this place again, and I won’t be recommending it to anyone. Absolute disappointment.
Save your money and your sanity—go somewhere else. 0/10.

Despite appearances IHOP is NOT in fact “open 24 hours”. On this particular day it was of no consequence to me however it is misleading all the same. The only way one would know of this inconsistency would be if they were to look online ahead of time. The only other way would be if they were to look at a very small sign on the entrance door. Interestingly this sign is posted directly above a decal which also states that they are open twenty four hours.
The single greatest aspect of my experience here was my host/server Jessenia. This young lady was very accommodating, attentive and welcoming during my visit. While the meal exceeded my expectations it was also not anything really worthy of note. If my experience was hindered at all it was by the very dimly lit dining area. Worse yet, the signage at my table was saturated with old syrup. Worse yet the syrup container at my table was also covered with the remnants of the same.

Worst experience in an IHOP ever! Mainly the service. Stopped in this morning around 9:30a as we were on our way out of GR. The hostess seemed like she was half asleep as there was no greeting, no hello, just a flat.. ‘how many people?’. Our waitress was terrible. Brought me a wrong cooked order (eggs) and when I mentioned it she didn’t seem to recall what I ordered. The ‘fixed’ order was still not right (asked for overhard eggs and the first time was scrambled and the fixed ones were over medium with a runny yoke). but was feed up by then. Had to flag her down to ask for more bottomless pancakes. Couldn’t wait to finish eating to get out of there. The food, was good but not right to the order. Funny that when we walked it there was a promotion of $5 off for a 5 star raiting. Not sure how anyone could give that good of a score. Won’t be back to that location anytime soon.

I went to the restaurant on national pancake day. Jasmyn was my waitress. She was prompt, friendly and polite. She explained how the pancake deal worked. She is a fabulous employee. I will definitely be back.

Average experience overall. The food was decent—pancakes were fluffy, but some of the other items felt a bit underwhelming in taste and freshness. Service was friendly but noticeably slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The place could use a little more attention to cleanliness, especially around the tables and floors. Not a bad spot for a casual breakfast, but nothing that really stood out compared to other diners.

The Star Wars Garrison
I don’t often share reviews but i’ve been attempting to order through DoorDash and can’t ever seem to find a moment where this iHop location accepts orders. They used to do it all the time but now it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack for moments when they do accept DoorDash orders.
I work from home doing content creation so it’s more convenient to have the service offered.
