I don’t usually leave reviews, but this visit to IHOP was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, things were off. We waited way longer than expected just to be acknowledged, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. When we were finally seated, it took forever for our server to come to the table, and when they did, they seemed rushed and uninterested in helping. The food was just as disappointing as the service. Our order took a long time to come out, and when it finally arrived it was barely warm. The pancakes were dry and tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp, the eggs were overcooked, and the hash browns were greasy and soggy instead of crispy. To make matters worse, the server rarely checked on us, so we had empty drinks for most of the meal. By the time someone came back to the table, we were already finished eating and just ready to leave. Overall the experience was frustrating and not worth the money. Between the slow service, poor food quality, and lack of attention to the table, it definitely wasn’t worth what we paid! I hope management takes a closer look at what’s going on because something clearly isn’t working.

Had dinner here tonight and the restaurant was very under staffed. It took 45 minutes to get our food and the waitress had absolutely no help. After our wait, the food arrived cold enough to not melt cheese in the eggs. Also, we would have liked more drinks. We love breakfast for dinner, and this place is closer than cracker Barrel to our house. So, it would be great if it could be better for all of oak ridge.

My family and I (party of 8) had an amazing experience, largely thanks to our server, Kala! She was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, and her menu recommendations were spot-on. She was fast, efficient, and never let our drinks go empty. Her warm and friendly personality made our meal even better Thank you Kala for helping to make our rare get-together enjoyable. I highly recommend asking for her!

Our server Amanda was a ray of sunshine on a cold, rainy morning. She took great care of us, and our compliments go to the cooks as well! Everything was cooked perfectly and very yummy. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was friendly and cozy.

I ordered on door dash I said last time I wouldn’t do it again and went against my better judgment. Food got here pretty fast food was still warm which is not the norm but the eggs were burnt again this makes twice in a couple months. We order on average of 4 times a week from some where when I do a door dash review unless it’s good it never gets published..oh yes and they were scrambled

The worst IHOP experience I’ve ever had, or seen. First it took a few mins to be sat down. I noticed several table had not been bussed. The restaurant only had, maybe, eight tables worth of customers. There was 5 or 6 waitresses. Tables should have been clean. After we sat down, waitress came a few mins later to take our drink order. At this time I noticed 2 gents being sat across from us. We placed our food order and then waited and waited and waited and waited some more. The 2 guys next to us, never once talked to. No one helped them, no drinks, no orders. They eventually left about 20mins later. We continued to wait, them we noticed people behind us, who were sat a while after us were given their food first. In all, I believe we waited 30mins for 3 pancakes and a BLT. As we ate we noticed another table was sat behind us was being ignored. That lady had to say something. Not 5mins after we got our food the check was dropped at the table. I paid with my card, the waitress didn’t have a pen for me to sign the check. She had to chase down a pencil, something that could be erased.
Not sure who runs this location, but they should be looking for a different job. I’m including 2 pics. One of an unbussed table. And this was only one of maybe 6. The other is from the table that the guys left from. How do you expect to make money if you aren’t willing to help the folks who pay your salary.
Also, don’t follow the hours listed on Google. They are drastically different from the hours on the door.
I seriously don’t think I’ll ever go back here again. Competition is just across the street.

We went as a group of 6 at 7:45 and when we walked in we stood and waited for about 6 minutes. We yelled and ask if anybody was there because we didn’t see or hear anyone while we waited. A man came to the front and said the waitress was in the bathroom. We waited on her to come and when she did she told us the lobby was closed at 8pm. Online said it was open till 10pm. She said she would still seat us and that it was no problem because she forgot to lock the door. We told her we could go somewhere else that it wasn’t a problem, but she assured us it was ok. We sat down and waited 20 minutes to get drinks, and waited a hour to get our food. 3 of us needed a drink refill and she said she would bring them out but they ended up waiting around another 30 minutes for their drinks. When the food finally came out one of us got a biscuit and gravy. Except it wasn’t a biscuit, it was English muffin. He asked her about it and she told him that’s just how ihop biscuits look. She left and when she came back we all asked her if she could get him a biscuit and not an English muffin. Only to be told that’s what ihop biscuits look like. We looked up what they actually looked like and it was indeed a English muffin. He didn’t eat it and when we left, one of us went to the bathroom and she got locked it and overheard the lady and man talking. They said “Did they really think I would cook a whole pan of biscuits for them?” They could have told us there were things they couldn’t or wasn’t willing to make and we would have said ok or went to another restaurant instead. But they chose to lie right to all of our faces. In all due respect, do you think 6 southerners don’t know what a biscuit looks like? 1st and last time coming.

Absolutely terrible experience. The restaurant was dirty, the staff was rude and unprofessional, and I watched my food sit until it was cold while waiting on basic items like syrup and ketchup. No one checked on the table, and I eventually had to hunt down condiments myself.
To make it worse, staff were openly talking and laughing behind the register about customers instead of doing their jobs. Completely unprofessional.
I ordered a simple meal that was supposed to cost around $7 and somehow walked out paying $22. They charge $5 for a small orange juice, which was never clearly explained.
Cold food, filthy environment, rude staff, and an inflated bill. This place can’t even handle the basics. I wouldn’t recommend eating here to anyone.

Ordered 4 shakes. They all came out quickly but 100% warm and liquid like milk out of a jug. Ordered kids pancakes and they came out absolutely smothered in icing and looking awful. Kids did not eat them. Our breakfast the eggs tasted awful. The good of our meal was the mozzarella sticks. Spent $100 to just go somewhere else.

Went for breakfast food was good not hot but at least warm and good but waitress was horrible! We had dirty cups we finally got a clean one but no refills nothing. I don’t know what they would have done if they were busy. No wonder everybody going to Waffle House and First Watch!
