Stopped by the IHOP in Dawsonville on a Friday night with a family of five after being told there were long waits at several other restaurants. We were seated right away. From the start, we were greeted warmly and served promptly. Our server, David, along with the rest of the staff, was welcoming and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The food came out hot and all at the same time, which is no small thing with a larger family. Overall, a great experience—we’ll definitely be back.

Michael and the seasoned wait staff are welcoming and friendly. The food comes out hot and to order. I would recommend having the butter soft so it spreads easily. We have been coming here for years and always leave full. Nice to see regular staff who have been here for years also. They are very good at what they do and frequently go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. Thanks!

I had the best customer service from Elaina. She was very attentive and so sweet. I don’t live close to Dahlonega at all, but I would come back to this IHOP just for the service alone. I definitely want to give her props, she was wonderful. The food was pretty well cooked, better than any IHOP in middle GA, but a couple of my tomatoes tasted old so I had to take a star for that…otherwise everything was great in my eggs white omelet and pancakes.

My husband and I eat a “breakfast dinner” about once a month at the Dawsonville IHOP. My favorite meal is the berry crepes. They are filling and delicious! Best crepes around. The Manager is conscientious and accommodating, with an equally dedicated wait staff.

Food is great, plenty of menu options something for everyone. Friendly and attentive staff. Great for a family meal or a quick bite. Definitely recommend. Ask for Michael he’ll keep you laughing and take good care of you.

We enjoy having breakfast at the Dawsonville location. A very consistent staff on the weekends. Usually ask for Micheal’s section, although the others are great too. The downside is when the kitchen gets backed up filling to go orders. It’s frustrating when the dining customers make the effort to come in and have to take a backseat to go orders.
Take a rule from Waffle House… when to dining room is full and there’s a line waiting to be seated STOP taking to go orders.
