Normally, the service is great and the food was perfect, but today our service experience was horrible. My family and I sat in the new persons section and the service was god awful. It took them over 10 minutes to get drinks (granted one person in my group of four ordered a milkshake and I think they wanted to bring everyone’s stuff out at once), the bowl containing the stuff for coffee was put on top of the coffee so whatever was on the bowl was now either in the coffee or on the rim where someone has to drink it, and our server acted like there were plenty of other places she would rather be. After putting in our orders, she didn’t come check on us and we had to flag someone else so they could inform her we needed her to bring us more coffee. Instead of pouring another cup for the person that ordered the coffee, she sat it down in front of me and walked away. She came back a minute or so later with creamer and walked off. We didn’t see her again until a few minutes later when she informed us that she did not submit our order that we had been waiting at least 45 minutes for at that point and asked us what we wanted to do. We put our orders in again and waited. One of the group members got up after another 10 minutes to try and find the manger and all of a sudden everyone got really nervous around us. Eventually when our food came out, the manger came over and tried to cover for the new server and comped our meal. Although it was a wonderful gesture, there was no accountability taken and they continued to blame our experience on a system error. The server even came back after we had our food and asked if the manger had taken care of us with the attitude we had seen throughout our visit. All in all, this wasn’t a good experience and it’s going to be a while before come back.

I stopped here for brunch last weekend while passing though the area. Everything went great — the space was clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were both friendly and efficient. Special shout-out to the host, Valencia, who made me laugh on the way to my table; and also to my server, Brittany, who was kind, competent, and attentive. A big thank you to the cooks, as well, for making such tasty food, and to everyone else who was working hard in the background — I see and appreciate you!

We ordered the strawberry crepe combo. It was very good. The eggs were cooked correctly and the sausage links were good too. The crepes were tender although it could have had more strawberries. I do miss the lingonberries. They haven’t been on the menu in awhile. They were delicious with the crepes. We were hoping they would bring them back however since they haven’t we may not come back either.

Great Experience as always whenever we come here. This is definitely the best IHOP in the Richmond area. We actually drive further just to come to this one because the one near our house isn’t that great. Prices are very reasonable and the servers and staff are always very friendly. The food comes out very fast and is delicious. One ofour favorite breakfast places in the area.

Food was GREAT! Not very handicap oriented. Told we would have to awhile before seated, by the shift manager who was taking names for seating. Was questioned as to why my husband had such a BIG wheelchair!! Had trouble getting his legs under the table and was told by the same person that he would have to make do!!!

Ordered the sirloin steak tips medium well, scrambled eggs with , hash browns, & a side of triple stack pancakes. The steak tips were cooked to perfection!! No cutting necessary they just melted in your mouth!! Hats off to the Cook!!

My family and I visited this restaurant on November 1 at around 8 AM, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, we found several people standing in the lobby, many of whom were waiting for to-go orders, while an older couple was waiting to be seated. After about 10 minutes of standing there, we noticed that multiple staff members walked by without acknowledging any of the waiting guests.
Eventually, a staff member came to the front desk, but her demeanor was less than welcoming and she seemed frustrated and asked, “Who was first?”. Before getting an answer another woman with dark hair standing 3ft away shouted to her “Tell them we’re not open yet,” while the couple in front of us raised their hands to be seated. This interaction was not only rude but also disrespectful. The couple decided to leave, and we followed suit.
At NO point did anyone apologize for our wait or greet us with any level of hospitality. It’s sad to see such a lack of professionalism, especially from a restaurant that should prioritize customer service. The manager should take a serious look at their team’s training in hospitality, as this experience suggests that this sort of thing happens often.

Walked in at 3 30 in the afternoon. One waitress, two people cooking, nobody seating anyone. Heard the waitress ask the cook, how much longer on my chicken sandwich? Finally someone came to seat us and told us it would be another ten minutes. We left. This is typical for this IHOP. Never again

Crazy busy here but the host, our server, and the kitchen were efficient! We came over from Williamsburg and weren’t expecting such a good experience. I’ll drive the hour just to come to this ihop instead of ours!!!
