We had a great sever named Brittany, she was great. Try to request her by name and tell her I recommended her to you. The food came out shortly after ordering. It was fully cooked, hot and looked like the photos they are always sharing on the menu. It’s been a while since I’ve been there. We’ll definitely be back.

We have been there a few times being it’s the closest one to us. So, we’ve given this location plenty of chances to change our minds. But every time it’s fallen short of our expectations. The last time we were there, they fried the bacon to almost burnt and the sausage to a point it looked shriveled, the over-medium eggs ordered were fried to the consistency of hard-boiled eggs (see 1st picture), and the serving of hashbrowns is close to ridiculous! They did fix the eggs (see other picture) but by then the rest of the meal was, off course, cold. Service was not good. We had a Hispanic young lady who seemed to be annoyed to serve us (3 people), had an attitude, only responding in monosyllables and making a face at times.

Sometimes this ihop location is a hit-and-miss. But lately it’s been really good, the waitress has been on point, took our drink and food order quickly. Recommend pancakes, omelets the breakfast sampler, not so much dinner foods, although probably good, but stick to breakfast. Recommend it

Wait time was about 20 minutes. Servers were courteous. Restaurant looked clean and utensils, table and syrups had all been wiped down and cleaned. Food was hot, our waitress did check on us but not as often as I would have liked. Would recommend this Chester, VA IHOP to travelers. Handicap access to all aspects of the building including restrooms.

Ok let me start by saying our waitress was very nice and so was another gentleman that was attentive to us early that morning. We ordered French toast with hash eggs and turkey sausage. Didn’t care for the turkey sausage. My French toast…was light bright and definitely considered just toast. So they took it back and browned it I guess. I was cool with that. Well my friend digs into her hash just to find a hair cooked into it. Manager came and fixed the issue. Well by then I’m just like let’s go. I get home to finish the rest of my French toast just to find brush bristles cooked in it! Yeaaaaaaa… Not going back there.

Took too long to get seated, took even longer for our waitress….food came out in pieces…when I stated not to bring the forgotten items they put them Togo…and they were cold…manager did his best to save the experience.
