UPDATE: Full Review
We were craving brunch food and couldn’t decide so we ended up going to IHOP. It’s close and convenient. We were seated fairly quickly. It wasn’t busy at all. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. Everything came out hot. I did have to ask for my mayo twice and the onion rings came out about half way through our meal. Totally worth it. They were crunchy and delicious and the ranch is very yummy. I had the steak and cheese. It was very filling compared to most places. The bun was soft and fresh. They were out of fries so I ordered the hash browns instead. They could’ve been cooked longer in my opinion. They were a bit cold and soggy in the middle. My boyfriend had the combo with eggs and french toast with sausage links and hash browns . He ate every bite. The eggs were cooked perfectly to over medium. The sausage links were very flavorful. He said that the French toast had a smooth texture. Some of the staff, ladies working near the kitchen, could have been a bit more polite, like saying excuse me or not standing directly in the way to the bathrooms. I don’t like the feeling that I’m inconveniencing the staff just to use the restroom. Their truck wasn’t coming until the following day so they didn’t have take out lids for the containers. That wasn’t a big deal. They sealed its well with aluminum foil. They do have a rewards club so download the app. Atmosphere is pleasant. They have booths and tables. Recommend calling ahead for a large party. The dining area is not very big. We would go again for sure. The menu is extensive, lots to try.

Initially when i received my food, it was undercooked and unpleasant. My server Keyonna came over and told the kitchen to make me another order! She has great customer service and a warm smile that could make anyone’s day. I really appreciate the service she gave to me and my grandchildren.

My hubby and I went to IHOP in Hampton, it has been for the first time in a couple of years. We stopped going there cause the place was not run. Well the prices were bad and the place was a little dirty. You got rude service and it just wasn’t a place we liked. We tried it again this week it has changed dramatically. New management has taken over. They have plenty of people working there. The place has cleaned up and everybody is very attentive. They also have very good prizes and great coffee. The young man we had to take care of us was so nice and they have still a six dollar breakfast or a senior menu they also have Have a $7.99 breakfast cheese omelette with your toast and or pancakes and it was delicious. Everything is cooked well and they’re right on it. If you don’t like something they they’ll replace it. I highly recommend if you haven’t gone there for a while try it again. I think you’ll love it.

I’ve eaten at many IHops and they are not equal. This one was fantastic. It was full but the staff kept everything moving. First Jason our waiter was attentive and friendly. Our drinks were constantly refilled. The food came out hot and was cooked just like we ordered. The food also was fresh and tasted great. Last Jason was helpful with our paying with a e gift card. The place is the old style building but appears to be clean.

I ate here today for dinner. The restaurant wasn’t busy. I was seated right away. The waitress took my order and got me my food quickly. The Eggs Benedict was delicious! I was very happy with my visit and I’ll definitely visit again!

A GLORIOUS walk in the clouds!!!
I have eaten more than a hundred omelets in my 57 years of living. Today, here, was the best I have experienced so far! I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by two polite, friendly and professional members of the wait staff. I was seated and my drink order was taken within 60 seconds of walking in. My food order was taken within the following 60 seconds. The table and all dishes and utensils were remarkably clean. I ordered decaf, knowing that a fresh pot would have to be made, and it was on the table in 2 minutes from ordering, along with cream and sugar. My meal, an eclectic choice on my part, was served within five minutes of my order. Every single detail was perfect. I had asked for ketchup, and other items, and I never had to follow up or remind them of any detail. The food was cooked perfectly, better even than I could have done myself. Overall, despite this being at a national chain-restaurant, this was one of the most thoroughly perfect meals of my life. If I won the powerball lottery, I’d pay $20M to buy this place, keep every single member of the staff, and run a school for cooks, wait staff and managers for restaurants all over the world, because the entire industry could learn a lot from these people. It was just that good!!!

My dad and I come here often. They are now under new management and the speed is much better than before! Food was good, hot and service was welcoming. The new manager Luz takes the time to say hello, and have a conversation even . Stop by it is worth it!
