Overall experience was very pleasant! Teresa was such a great server. She went over and beyond to explain the promotions and menu. She was very patient in helping us order. My husband ordered almost half the menu & kept changing his mind. I was so impressed with her. Food came out very fast and was hot! Everything was good! The cook back there was doing his thing!!! I will be back!!! I hope I can get Teresa as my server again! Absolutely great customer service!!!

We thought the service was friendly, but the atmosphere and food quality were poor. Many tables in the restaurant had been co-opted for staff breaks or organizing paperwork, etc, which made the restaurant feel cluttered.
My breakfast burrito was terrible and the cinnamon bun was sweet to the extreme. Neither of us finished our food.

I loved my experience here! We had Amanda assisting us.. She was very pleasant, she made us laugh, and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Every time I go to IHOP Columbia Heights, I will be asking for her service. 10 out of 10 service!! The food can out fast and hot!

Enjoyed breakfast here the other day with my family and was very impressed!!! Morgan was our server and she went above and beyond our expectations to make us comfortable and served our food quickly and accurately. We will be requesting her section everytime we go now!

Overall it was horrible experience at this location . Staff extremely rude they had lot table empty but made us wait almost 20 mins before they got us table then stuff at table were dirty. Anyway food was fine but overall experience was not good

Extremely expensive! You can’t get an omelette here for less than $20! This is Times Square-style pricing, almost double the cost of other places in DC.
Also, beware that you will get charged four dollars extra per child’s drink! The kids menu does not warn you that drinks are NOT included. And the server didn’t tell us either. When I questioned the surprise items on the bill, he just said “no, not included.)
The food is what you would expect (filling portion sizes and solid taste, hence three stars). Just not worth the high prices and slow service. We waited over five minutes to be seated, ten minutes to order, and 15 minutes for food to arrive. A local independent diner would be a better bet. Clean bathrooms.
