I normally have better visits than the one I’ve had today. I definitely stopped coming as much as I used too because of the quality of food/taste declining. I love eggs benedict, and I have had it here before and it was good. However, this time all my food was luke warm, poached eggs weren’t runny as they should be, and it took 45 minutes to be made. If it took that long I would have expected it to be hot. My sibling got over medium eggs and they came out wrong as well. Our server was fine, she seemed a bit overwhelmed. They could have used another server on. It was a lot of waiting in general. Took us two hours by the time we got there and finally paid. Overall, a bit disappointed this visit. Also, for a glass of OJ it’s $4.79. I could buy a whole carton! I won’t be getting juice out anymore, that’s expensive.

Ok let’s start with price. This is cheap compared to other breakfast locations in NJ. Also the service is very good. ( May slip if very very busy).
I’m not into sweets but the daughter and missus say the pancakes were good. Highly recommend the poblano eggs Benedict – spicy and meaty. Also who has time to make hollandaise sauce at home?

Wasn’t very busy, 6 waitresses standing around talking. We waited 10 minutes for somebody to come to our table to take our order. Took about 20 minutes to get our food. Over-medium eggs came out cold and runny. Sat by the kitchen and all you heard was goofing and fooling around in there. Kids these days don’t want to work. Our waitress was very pleasant when we finally got one.

well, sorry to say, but we won’t try it again. Food was no way good enough. My breakfast was OK except for the way the hash brown were cooked. The worst was when my coworker pulled the brown avocados from his sandwich. For the cook that did this, you should be fired. I told the waitress that if they ever came to my house, I would never serve this to them.

I feel like IHop is often underrated, the one here in Hackettstown absolutely shouldn’t be! On Fridays they have a balloon lady come in and she and the wait staff are really great with the little ones! My 3-year-old has a blast. (We’ve done Friday’s a couple times now.) I definitely recommend for families.

Service was a joke. Went for breakfast and my father asked for coffee and it didn’t come for 10 minutes, and a refill took forever or never even came. Servers stand around talking to each other while people need stuff at their tables. Definitely need to get their service together, otherwise the food was great.

Please don’t go here. My friends and I went here for lunch, I really didn’t want to go because it’s always bad but my friend chose this IHOP for her birthday. When we sat down the table was sticky and all of our arms were sticking to the table. We nicely told the waiter and he said “I’ll be right back”. He came back with one Clorox wiped and dropped it on the table and left. We had to clean the dirty table ourselves. The food was terrible. Fake eggs, and barely cooked hash browns. We then asked for some water. He bought all the glasses of water and left them on the edge of the table for us to pass around ourselves. I guess it was too much trouble for him. I have always had a bad experience here, but today sealed the deal. Please save your money and go somewhere else
