An IHOP in Newport! Yay!
This location is inside an Irving gas station and right off interstate.
It is an all day menu so if you wish to eat a burger for breakfast all the more power to you.

We ordered from the value menu and received good food and plenty of it. It really is a good value. The service was courteous and quick. Just don’t order the coffee. The worst coffee I have ever had and they had brewed a fresh pot for us. We will go back for the food, no coffee.

Husband and I went there for the first and last time today. Coffee is bitter, we asked for extra cream and never got it until we had to ask for a 2nd time. Not that big of a deal if it were busy, but it wasn’t busy at all. ( 4 tables total seated including us with at least 2 wait staff.) We got our food and both our plates were barely warm. My hash browns were undercooked. Our server never came back to ask if everything was ok. We had also places a to go breakfast item and that was messed up as well ( not what we asked for). She offered to have them make us what we asked for but we couldn’t wait and just took it anyway.

Complete order from IHOP (Newport ME) not delivered. Manager Sabrina, threw “new trainee” under the bus. If trainee, then why not more oversight from trainer. Manager “cannot refund” for missing items. Only a “written note” left for staff for when I come to the IHOP for a replacement. We had food delivered for a reason. Amount spent on IHOP breakfast $74. Broken trust!

Went here today for the first time and the waitress was terrible she didnt even bring our food to us and then my eggs still had runny whites and ive never had that issue. I got sausage gravy and biscuits and didnt even have enough gravy to cover my biscuit the portions are awful small for the prices they charge I think the previous restaurant was so much better than this Ihop that is there now. My husband food was over salty and the burrito only tasted good with the salsa they serve and they dont give you enough salsa to eat the whole thing. Literally our waitress was terrible she had to be asked to refill our drinks and stuff she didnt come back to ask about our food being ok and such she was overwhelmed with the amount of tables she had I think they need to do a better job over all from service to table to paying the bill you shouldn’t have to wait for your waitress to pay for your food. I wont be going back anytime soon.

I got the chicken and waffles, and it was cooked perfectly. Chicken was steaming hot, syrup was in reach and full, and the waitress was quick to get extra napkins. Very kind and quick to get out!

First off the menu picture and the food that came don’t even come close!!! Don’t waste your hard earned money! I got chicken fried steak needless to say I spit out more grissle then the steak itself , the mash pot aren’t even real the gravy was something you’d get in a jar. My dad had fishing platter with two pieces of premade fish like from McDonald’s and 4 shrimp! Never again, worse decision Newport Maine made was letting that crap shack in there.

Went there for the second time today. Both times the food exceeded our expectations. And the Servers here are excellent! Plenty of staff minimal waiting. The breakfast was great, good prices, went for lunch last time and had an awesome burger. Very impressed with the friendly and plentiful staff. Will be back!

The server was great. The food not so much. The hash browns were a tower of not fully cooked shredded potatoes. The top and bottom were crispy but the inside was cold and not fully cooked. The pancakes were good but all batter in the center. The sausage links were tiny and the bacon was soft and chewy. I know some people like it that way but a little crunch is nice. The over easy eggs were good but the omelet that was ordered looked terrible and was also tiny. But again the sever was amazing. Every thing that was supposed to come with the meal was charged as extra. This is the last time I will come here. We used to always meet family here before it changed over. That will not happen again.
