Our order was unchanged for items we asked details on specifically. On the kids menu we took a side hashbrown we were told was included and were charged. Same for a kids milk.
The food took a good 20 minutes to get to us after ordering.
Food itself was tasty.
Would not return to this specific location based on this experience.
Please train customer facing staff to actually listen to the customers.
Starting out when my family and I arrived, it was busy but not overly. We are a family of 5 but were sat in a booth good for a family of 4 while bigger booths were readily available. Without wanting to be a pain, we sat anyway with no complaints. While I appreciate that they “cleaned” the seats and table with water, maybe next time they want to do a once over with a dry towel before sitting customers in a sopping wet seat! Just a suggestion, so nobody leaves with a wet behind especially in winter!
While their are several other things I’d like to add, I’ll just get to the food and let this be done.
#1. My husband ordered the Country Fried Steak & Eggs comes with a side of pancakes.
First and foremost the pancakes never came. The “gravy” (and I use that term loosely) that it was supposed to be smothered in, came in a to-go container on the side, was thick and chunky and smelt like mushy cardboard. The hash browns were completely raw and cold.
#2 One of my daughters ordered the Chicken and Waffles with a strawberry lemonade. The waffle and the chicken were both extremely overcooked. The chicken was burnt on the outside and dry on the inside and the waffle was rock hard. Then the strawberry lemonade was so watered down you could hardly it was lemonade at all!
#3 I got the Breakfast Combo. 2 blueberry pancakes, 2 scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausage links.
The blueberries they put on top were hard and tough to chew. While my pancakes were cold. The hash browns were uncooked and the sausage links tasted old and rubbery. All around gross.
#4 one of my other daughters got the cinnamon bun crepes with a blue raspberry lemonade.
Again the lemonade was super watered down was supposed to come with strawberries in it was told “we ran out of strawberries”. The crepe was cold and way too sweet so she wouldn’t eat it.
#5 my youngest daughter got 5 silver pancakes with strawberries and bananas on the said (after being told they ran out of strawberries for my other daughter’s drink?!!?) Her meal was the only edible one out of everyone. Pancakes were still cold though…
All in all it was just a horrible experience! Wasted over $100 and will absolutely NEVER go back to this location again!
You’re better off going to a nice family owned restaurant!
Food was great, but that was about it. Got the Strawberry Banana Pancakes, and for $13.29 I thought they were filling, fluffy, and tasty. Everyone who I was eating with seemed to enjoy their food as well.
Service was friendly, but very slow. Took almost a half hour to get coffee and order. For context, I usually go to Waffle House, usually I am in and out within that same time frame. Everything from paying to waiting to order just took a very long time.
Lastly, the atmosphere was pretty average. The inside of the facility was clean, but it has not been updated in quite some time. With how much foot traffic they seem to get on a Saturday morning, I doubt they need to update it.
