IHOP is a chain of breakfast restaurants located all across the country, serving breakfast meals and desserts at all hours of the day.
We got it on DoorDash, so we didn’t interact with staff. The food itself was just alright, expected for a restaurant of this type. The home fried potatoes weren’t good, we didn’t even finish it. Everything else was just pretty standard, waffles were alright and went well with pancake syrup.

The service we received from our assigned waiter was exceptional! We were leaving from Dedham returning to CT on a Sunday morning and stopped for breakfast at IHOP. We were seated within 5 minutes and our orders were quickly taken. ordered turkey bacon with my meal and the bacon was undercooked. Our original server returned the bacon to the cook and brought back some perfectly cooked bacon that complimented the meal.

The wait staff here is PREJUDICE. And I will never spend money at this IHOP again. I come to this IHOP all the time. Dining in and for take out. The Manager Oscar is always super helpful as he was today. But KARINA and Delscia are two female wait staff who are prejudice. I came for my pick up order and usually all I have to do is give my name. She said things changed that I have to provided the proof, so I went back to my car to retrieve my phone to show her my online order on my phone and these two still gave me a hard time picking up my food as if I was trying to take someone else’s food. I spoke with the manager about my frustration and then my wife came inside to see what the hold up was. Then KARINA is going to start blowing her breath talking trash saying we have customers and my wife asked her well what do you think we are. I went into the hall to speak with the manager and my wife sat inside. A gentleman of Spanish decent came in for his pick up order and my wife watched to see if he would get the same treatment. That gentleman did not show his phone to KARINA to confirm it was his order but yet she still gave it to him with no issue. My wife then asked the manager for the corporate number and she will be following through with a report. The manager Oscar apologized several times and we are grateful because he is always helpful. But it’s sad that he will lose business from frequent good customers because his waitstaff is NASTY & PREJUDICE. We don’t spend money where we are not welcomed and I advise anyone else reading this to do the same.

The waitress was great, she made sure to keep checking on us… however, the waffles came out room temperature like they’d been sitting for a while, which ruined the taste a little because it made them not as soft as well. The chicken was perfect, crispy and flavorful. Pancakes were thick and fluffy with a little warmth to them, a little on the dry side. The eggs with cheese was great, along with the hashbrowns being nice and crispy. But the bacon had to be sent back the first time because it looked like it was microwaved with no crisp to it. Overall I’d come back again, but I’d probably ask my items to be reheated if they come out room temperature like some of these items today.

I normally come to this restaurant and realized that things changes at everytime. The day I came with a friend was extremely shocking.Very embarrassing and shameful of a restaurant waiter with her horrible service. I wanted an extra pancake which was my right as a customer. Rather this insolent of a waiter made an insulting comment. ” Didn’t you have a pancake already “. Moreover, they recently serve their pancakes on salsa unlike other times I come they were served on big plates. I had the right as a CUSTOMER to order the amount of pancakes I want no matter the much. There goes the waiter too when I wanted an extra water she made thesame comment. On top of that telling me that I already had an extra water on the table, which was even my friends untouched water. Regardless, I also had the right to ask for as much water that can even feel the whole table exaturatively. If not a cheap restaurant they’re meant to have a refillable water pitcher at the table. I got really furious and nearly about to make a scene in the act of proving my right to her. My friend discouraged me in other to avoid trouble. He went ahead to kindly forgave and tip the idiot after rejecting him from doing so. At a different day before this, I came with someone else we asked for cups of coffees, we were given coffees in paper cups like regular coffe restaurants. When they formal way of saving coffee at formal breakfast restaurant was with the mugs, refill jug, and as much cream and sugar wanted. I wanted to approach this incident in the sense of proving my right. Rather my friend discouraged me as well. IF NO ONE SPEAKS UP ABOUT THEIR TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES, THIS PLACE WILL NEVER IMPROVE SO AS FOR THE WORKERS THEMSELVES.

We haven’t been to IHOP in years, and this visit reminded me why…
It’s a nice restaurant in a convenient location near a shopping center, with a large free parking lot. Pleasant interiors (nothing fancy or special), clean restrooms, good service.
The issue is the food, most dishes include meat, not many vegetarian or healthy options. The veggie egg white omelet was greasy, felt like deep fried. The coffee refill was not generous, a small pitcher for three people.
And the prices are high, bottom line over $20 per person. So it may be a nice treat if you wanna have pancakes or waffles once a year, but I wouldn’t go there often.

I dined here a couple of weeks ago, and the waitresses were all absolutely pleasant and lovely. They created a welcoming and warm atmosphere, and they all seemed genuinely invested in providing outstanding service. Our server, Ana, was amazing!

Inconsistent service. Yesterday, a kind team helped me outside with a large catering order, without being asked. Today, the team was just very unfriendly. The dropped multiple large items to a young lady picking up in a trolley, leaving her struggle with getting out… I had to hold the door. When came my turn, they abandoned the order at the front desk and ignored me when I asked for help as my wrists were hurting. I was lucky a gentleman client helped me to the car. I would strongly recommend that the manager either retrain the staff working the early morning shift on 10/13/2025 or seriously consider limiting their contact with customers… I would not order again at this location.

Mexican tres leches flavored pancakes were just, wow! Super tasty and fun to chew. My main dish was the spicy poblano omelet and found it to be kind of bland. I had to dump a bunch of hot sauce in it, but in fairness I tend to do that anyway. The place was pretty empty so I didn’t expect the service to be so slow, nor the bathrooms as dirty as they were. I ended up wishing I went somewhere else. But it could have been a one off experience. I’ll return in the future to know for sure.

Wildly unprofessional staff and an unnecessarily long wait times. One of the workers, I didn’t get his name, A mexican boy working the front counter was incredibly rude and didn’t even bother to help me even when I asked him and instead ignored me. This type of behavior should not be the acceptable at Ihop and I hope management talks to the staff about how poor their sense of urgency is. Never coming back.
