I came to Iguanas for Thursday’s taco special at about 6:10 PM on the recommendation of the great guys over at Graybarry Disc Golf and got the last seat.
I recently moved to Indiana from the taco town of Austin, Texas, and the street tacos at Iguanas are authentic. Two Street Steak tacos on corn, two Street Steak tacos on flour, one Beef Tip taco on flour, and one Crispy Shell Beef taco, and… wait for it… free chips and salsa.
Out the door before tip for $10.90. The service by Vanesa was quick and impeccable! So, I left her a 50% tip of $5.
I will be driving back with my wife from Bloomington to do some stuff in Indy and bring her the first Thursday night she can go!

Whatever dish I get, I always add Chorizo. I got the Chicken fajitas add Chorizo. I cut up all my chicken and as I’m going through it I noticed there wasn’t much chorizo in it so I literally separated the chorizo from my chicken and there was a teaspoon added to the chicken. The whole time I was seperating, our waitress was nowhere to be found and my husband had eaten his food already so I could show her how little chorizo was added. I just ate it. I included the pic. Finally right after 2 bites, waitress came and she took the chorizo off the bill which is fair. We did come last week and it was good. Waiter was great. I got 3 chimichangas w/shredded chicken and chorizo inside. They were awesome and had ample amount of chorizo added. This time not so much. We were over this way for the car show 2 weeks in a row. We quit coming for a while (at least a year) because the portion sizes got less and less. They proved to be better last week but this time not so much. They weren’t that busy and it was later than we normally come for dinner about 8:30.

Order here at 11:30 AM and regretted every second. I was handed the wrong order twice and I waited over 20 minutes. I had placed my order ahead of time and got there around 11:40 AM. I finally left around 12:05 PM with the worst food ever.
A torta doesn’t take that long to make. It had no seasoning at all, I was extremely upset and disappointed. The only flavor was the mayonnaise which was more like cream. It kept falling apart and the bread staler then stale itself.

Food was plentiful, and was so good. It was busy then in the evening, however service was slow, and I had to get help 3 times. Ex: eating utensils were dirty, needed more. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Our first time eating here & the food was very good. We ordered two big veggie burritos & they forgot to add the lettuce & tomato. I went back in because I was still in the parking lot & they completely made us a new order. The burritos were huge & fully loaded. I didn’t take pictures of the remake burritos because I was so hungry after having to wait for a second order remake but I do I have the pictures of the burritos they forgot to add the lettuce & tomato to. I would return here, they made sure to take care of me when they messed up on my order with no hesitation.

Went for lunch met a couple friends with my husband. My husband and I walked in. There was 2 tables full so about 6 orv7 people total. 4 of them were leaving when our friends showed up. So by the time we ordered a couplevwith a child walks in. We order drinks they come. We order food. Our friends food comes. Looks good. Shrimp cocktail and a simple chicken burrito. Our food is no where. It took another 5 mins for my birria pizza. It was cold. The commsome soup u dip it in was hot. There was barely any meat in it. My husband finally gets his 13.00 spicy burrito, and it’s smaller and has less chicken in it than the simple chicken burrito. My husband asked if it was a lunch portion, and she said no, they don’t have a lunch portion. Ok, so where’s the rest of the burrito.. lol.. my husband told the lady it was fine he just wouldn’t be back … they took his burrito off the bill. Food is tasty, and they said they have the best prices around. We agree that’s why we came. But less price with less food I’d rather pay more. Hence why I got the expensive pizza. But it was not worth it. Their beans are yummy. I took a photo of my Birria pizza. Enjoy.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! The food was absolutely disgusting! The steak was not even a steak and the chicken did not taste like chicken. And we barely ever had our waiter come up to us. It took almost 15+ mins for me to get even a small thing of queso. The aroz con pollo was not even edible me nor my husband could stomach to eat it. Me and my husband are now both currently sick because of the aroz con pollo and he had one bite.

Found this one was delivered as advertised. I’m glad it had no sides. I had to take part of it home with me! Very good and more than a meal by itself. Highly recommend.
