No frills, Mexican fare. Order at the counter, fix your own drink, sit down, and a few minutes later you’re food arrives at wherever you sat down. Wonderful Lil hole in the wall inside a gas station. If you want a good fast sit down meal at a good price this is the place.

Came here for a quick pit stop on a road trip, and wow! So glad we did. The food is delicious and authentic. The woman working here are so kind and friendly. Prices are incredible. Some of the best tacos we have had in years! The chimichanga was delicious as well. Highly recommend! A great family owned place

When I first walked through the doors of the convenience store, I wasn’t impressed. The bathrooms, both men and women, rank with some of the worst we’ve ever encountered. (I don’t want to provide an accurate description. Think portable toilets at an outdoor rock concert, pretty close.) The restaurant ‘ambience’ was chaotic , with some multicolored chairs mixed with standard furniture from 1974 and booths that passed their prime in 1984. One of the fans was fuzzy. But we were hungry and the menu looked tasty and was priced well. It felt a touch like Russian Roulette with Mexican food!
The food, oh, the food! This was exceptional Mexican food! The chicken in my burrito was perfectly cooked, moist and tender, packed with flavor. The onions had a touch of char which actually sweetened the flavors. The flour tortilla was crispy where grilled adding more flavor and texture. This was one of the very best burritos I’ve ever had. My wife had the taco salad and loved it equally as much as I did my burrito! The salsa with their chips was flavorful with just the right amount of heat.

Don’t judge the food by its environment. It’s worth a stop. Just use the facilities elsewhere.

very rude lady up front, i ordered from the special menu (it said from 11-2) so when i placed the order over the phone i told them that i wanted each to be the specials. she rang me up and said $73.82, but we had kinda figured up price prior because it was for individual people so we gave money to each person. then i showed her the special menu and the lady huffed and puffed and rang me up once again, it was still $53.92. i ordered a grilled chicken patty with grilled onions, never got any onions. i will not be back.

The service was great. The food looked much better than it was. I had the wings, the HOT was very mild and bland. My husband had the Philly cheese steak it was ok. You enter into the service station then into the restaurant. Several locals came and went so maybe our choice of food was the issue.

Very nice people. The portion was great but definitely needs more seasonings to their food.

First time here. Ordered Burrito Bowl with Ground Beef….reworked it to taco salad . Reasonable priced, fast and friendly service. Not a 5 star type place but definitely a bang for your buck! No complaints

Once again, it’s more if a Taco stand inside a building. Limited options on a chalkboard.
There is no actual menu to look at.
I ordered the steak and shrimp Quesadilla and it was pretty small and crunchy.
Basically, it’s just an overcooked tortilla with some cheese steak pieces, and oh yes,
2 shrimp.
There was a tablespoon of lettuce a few chopped small bits of tomato with a quick squeeze of sour cream.
I was still starving after this small morsel of food.
I ordered 2 of the bottles of Jarritos pop. So my bill with tax was somehow over 13 dollars.
I couldn’t justify dropping another 10 to 20 dollars trying something else off the menu.

So, I’m going to call this a swing and a miss.
Had either prices matched the food and portion size or it had been more of an upscale experience, I wouldn’t have minded.
But leaving disappointed and still hungry.

Chips and salsa weren’t bad, just average.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lguana, the gas station Mexican restaurant, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed! Despite being located in a gas station, the food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The menu offered a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes, all of which were made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service and making me feel right at home. The restaurant was also impeccably clean, which is always a plus. Overall, I highly recommend Lguana for anyone looking for authentic and tasty Mexican food in a unique and unexpected setting.
