I absolutely love Iguana Wana! Every time I go, the restaurant is big, clean, and has such a great atmosphere. The food is always amazing, but the BIRRIA tacos are my favorite, they’re so good and the portion sizes are huge. The steak taco meal is always consistently good. You definitely get your money’s worth— very reasonable pricing too.
I actually moved away from Kenosha and still haven’t found a place that compares. Nothing hits the same! Whenever I’m back in town, Iguana Wana is one of my first stops. If you’re in the area and want delicious food, great portions, and a really nice spot to eat, I highly recommend it. I love this restaurant!

Really good Mexican restaurant! Great service as we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server took our drink order right away. The chips and three styles of salsa were fantastic! Menu options were plentiful. Our dinners arrived quickly and they were tasty. The beans and the rice are excellent. Our server was great: very attentive and helpful. This restaurant will go into our regular rotation for dinners in the future.

I love this place!! Everything was amazing! Caitlyn was our waitress. She didn’t miss a thing. I got the tostadas. Throughly impressed! Hubby got the bistec oaxaca. He loved his food also. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in quite a while. We drove all the way from Waukesha. Well worth it. 10 out of 10! It was so cool that the menu was the placemat!

Iguana Wana is our favorite spot. The Management and Areli Lopez did an amazing job making improvements in their cooking oil and hearing the customers’ requests! We love this food! Just keep making sure your servings are grande! Keep the portions Large. Highly recommend and best Mexican food we have ever had! Quality!!

This place was decent, with reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. My cousin and I tried the trip, which included a steak taco, a beef tostada, and an enchilada served with rice and beans. Unfortunately, the taco and tostada became soggy really quickly. It would have been better if the meat and toppings were served on the side so we could assemble our own tacos. Additionally, the meat could have used better seasoning. I won’t mention any names, but our server could have been more attentive. Overall, this place was hyped up too much and has room for improvement!

My TO GO order was taken promptly, and it arrived in a timely manner, but when I got to my car with the order, my gut feeling was to check if everything was there…always go with your gut feeling!
We ordered 3 Trio Burritos meals and none of the rice and beans were with the order & 2 of the 3 meals were overcooked with the cheese on top with very dark brown (basically burned). When I went back in to ask her about the rice and beans and mentioned the burned cheese on 2 of the 3 orders she said that’s just how they come. I pointed out to her that the 3rd one wasn’t dark brown and showed it to her. That one was normal. We order this almost every time we order from here so we know what it’s supposed to look like.
She didn’t offer to remake them and although she quickly went to go get the rice and beans, we were very disappointed that this is how we were left to eat burned cheese on top.
After arriving home and taking a closer look at the meals, all three of the burritos were pretty packed in the to go containers, literally stacked with 2 on the bottom and one on top. This made it very inconvenient to put the sauces on them individually as we have often done in the past. The pork burritos were quite dry as well.
Im not saying we wont ever go back there again, but this visit was a big disappointment. We are hoping this isn’t the reflection of how the quality of this restaurant is heading for the future.

I sat at the bar both last weekend and again this weekend, once with a girl friend and tonight with my husband. Both times Tiffany helped me and she was absolutely amazing each time. She was welcoming, kind, and made us feel right at home. Our drinks and food came out quickly. Her service truly made both visits such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back

Starting off, the atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant is amazing! It definitely feels like a specialty restaurant.
The service was solid. Had no complaints as everything came out pretty quick.
Finally the food and drinks. I had a watermelon margarita and it was amazing! It was like a jolly rancher in a glass! The chips and sauces were good and not too spicy. My main course was the Trios Burritos. The rice was very good, but the burritos I found to be just ok. The beef one was my favorite and was the best of the bunch. The chicken felt hard and a little over cooked in my opinion.
It was also my girlfriend’s birthday and we got the birthday surprise which we got as Flan. The flan was 10/10 would definitely get again!
Overall I would recommend stopping here and I plan on coming back.
