Bar has beers wife & I like…Michelob Amber Bock & Stag both n bottles. Horseshoes, burgers, appetizers, & mini tacos get thumbs up too! Cool place!

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is your standard frozen bar food, so I can’t give it much more than 3 stars. The table next to us waited an hour for their food because their order was forgotten. However, our food came in a timely manner, and we had a different waitress. Their systems went down by the time it was time to pay, but the checkout still went smooth. Overall, I would give them another try if I were in the area.

Found on the way to Chicago. It’s a little drive off the freeway but if you have time to sit and have a drink and grab a bite to eat it’s worth the stop.
It’s just a couple blocks of the old town square which I still get a kick out of that little town layout. It’s located in an old building with not front windows which is a little weird when you are walking up to the door.
I set at the bar and ordered a cheeseburger and a cup of broccoli cheese soup.
Now, this is a little bar in a small town. So understand that when you go in. The soup was delivered in a styrofoam bowl, but was good soup. Great cheeseburger and good conversation.

I had the gyro horseshoe and it was fantastic! The portions were large. The decor was interesting with lots of old photos of the area. Heather was a great server, but needed help. At one point there were over 30 customers and just one server.
